I guess because I always skip the duets anyway I didn't even think about it lol.

The fact that EUS does not include any duets doesn't make it special, or even stand out among her albums. The majority of them don't have duets.

Well I for one DO congratulate Celine and her team for recording an album without no duets for the first time in a long time. The fact that they are just focusing on her without including any names on the album cover as a lure to buy the CD (remember Sans Attendre stickers on the album mentioning all the duets included in the disc...) is indeed a special step for me. So I have ordered both versions of the album, the deluxe from Amazon Canada and the standard version from Amazon US. Did I need both? No. But did I want both? Heck yes!!! Can't wait to get them!

It's actually ALPHB (A La Plus Haute Branche) and no I don't think so... I asked in the tour topic and no one answered me back.

After listening to the sublime masterpiece that is ALPHB I think I will be buying the Standard Edition of the album. Seems like a much better song to end the record than the remastered version of an old song. Only way to change my mind is to really love the previews of A Vous and Ma Force. After listening to the sublime masterpiece that is ALPHB I think I will be buying the Standard Edition of the album. Seems like a much better song to end the record than the remastered version of an old song. Only way to change my mind is to really love the previews of A Vous and Ma Force.

Yes we are! I am a die hard fan but for all different reasons I guess. Actually, I am not a collector so buying her singles or several editions of her albums means nothing to me. So, it is rather normal for me to go for the Standard Edition of an album if I feel it works better this way. As a matter of fact, I bought the Standard Edition of Sans Attendre too, because the studio version of NMQP seemed bland to me. Same goes for LMBTL. Unifinished Songs seemed like a better ending track than the Las Vegas covers. Coherence is what matters to me, I want the album to deliver its message, so songs that sound like fillers and which are put towards the end of the album might reduce its coherence and overall quality. As I said though, I will listen to the previews of A Vous and Ma Force in order to make up my mind. Edited August 1, 2016 at 08:16 PM by LukeD

I really love "À La Plus Haute Branche". It creates a very special atmosphere, dreamy in a way.

Somehow reminds me of the 70ies, also of Celine's very early songs and somehow of Ennio Morricone (no idea why).
