OMG it's already available for preorder!!!!!! And you can buy EUS now in the US on iTunes!!!!! Let's go beeches!

And EUS is listed right under hot tracks and the album already has 18 reviews!

How can you see how many albums they sell when this is released here? I am just curious as to how it would actually do in the States. Even if I have to buy 10,000 copies I want it to do something at least. :giggle:

Edit: was it the deluxe version you bought?? All I see is the plain track listing and there's no reviews!

iTunes just screwed me over. I preordered the album, and then it "half downloaded" EUS and then said that the download wasn't available. EUS then showed up as a $1.29 download while it shows me that the rest of the album is preordered!! The album costs $9.99, which means that each track is about $0.83...but I just had to pay $1.29 to get the one song that is available. I'm not a penny pincher...but I am PISSED that iTunes just did that!

That sucks! I preordered the Deluxe version (15 tracks) for $10.99 including EUS!

But then go to Spotify and stream, stream, stream, because YES, it's also on US Spotify! :wub: (Am I dreaming?!)

It's not available for us here on the Pacific Coast yet. I think once it's 10:00PM it'll release. That's what happened with "The Show Must Go On." Once it releases, I will definitely be buying the album version of "Encore un soir." I'm not going to pre-order the iTunes album version, though. I want to get the physical CD.

 

Edit: Nevermind. Right after I posted this, it released. LOL

Encore Un Soir is the new album from Celine Dion, and the physical CD is an EXCLUSIVE release to Amazon Music in the United States.

 

Encore Un Soir was recorded entirely in Celine's native language of French, The title track was composed by legendary French songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman, marking a long-awaited reunion with Celine 12 years in the making. For the songs on this album, Celine personally chose uplifting themes that focused on life and positivity.

 

In addition to some national TV appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the Today Show to announce this album, Celine will resume her critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace the month following its release.

I hope the previews will be available soon...

I expect them to be released around August 10th because I remember the previews of SA were released a couple weeks before the album!

I tend to avoid listening the previews and the leaks before I get the physical copy of the album. The only time I did it was with "Taking Chances". I want to get surprised and discover the songs in my own way. So I will try to avoid the commentaries about the album and the songs on the forum. Each time I read your comments before I get the album, I have expectations and it changes little bit my first impression. It's maybe crazy, but I'm sure there are many of you who have the same problem. It won't be easy to avoid the forum because in the same time I want to be informed about everything around the release. Any chance we could have a spoiler-free thread?

I agree. Maybe we should open a seperate thread for opinions.

It is so hard for me to resist spoilers! I know I will be listening to all of them again and again...! :yes:

 

I think it is possible to create a thread for the previews, but I'm not sure if it works. There is chance people will still comment about them here. Probably a mod/admin is needed to pay attention to the commentary and move the preview-related comments to the proper thread.
