I would love that! She should release it when the Tour STARTS! Not ends

 

And when the Tour ends they should follow up and release a CD/DVD package of the concert!

I thought I read some where that the CD is being released on August 26th? It may not be from Sony, I don't know.

 

Would I like it be than, YES!! It will feel odd not knowing the new French tunes when she performs them in Montreal, especially since I'm in the States! It's like the Great Wall of French Celine....sad.

I think once this run of Paris shows is up we'll hear something about the album. We have a few weeks between Paris and the Canada shows, so maybe they'll tell us something like release timelines or something. Maybe I'm just greedy here... But I want to know!!!

there was an article about Celine album this morning in La Presse +, sorry i can't put the link for the moment , i'll do it when it 'll be on cyberpresse.. so about the album :

 

The new album is finished, Saturday night , after the show, Celine was approving the last mix before the final stage , the mastering.

 

Without counting Encore un soir and Ordinaire from Charlebois , we will hear 10 other songs , some by old contributors like Grand corps malade, Marc dupré, Jaques veneruso and others by new ones in Celine universe , Francis Cabrel, Serge Lama , The french duet Mutine in a team with florent Mothe, Zaho and the winner of the song competition, Daniel Picard.

 

Here is the official composition of the album with brief commentaries by Celine.

Ma faille/ Zaho- It is like my battle for my children

 

Je nous veux/ Marc dupre- Marc is in our family and this song is really near all the emotions our family was living

 

Les yeux aux ciel / Music by Florent mothe et Mutine and text from Grand corps malade- I have proposed the connecting thread of this song. I have a fiften years old who i have to say sometimes: Can you let go of your ipad for a second? Look at me, i just want to say to you , I love you

 

Si c'était à refaire/Jacques Veneruso- I love Jacques a lot, he's in JJG team. This song say that if i could my live again, i would not change a thig

 

À la plus haute branche/Daniel Picard- A childhood song, very touching. It talks about René end of life but in a light way

 

L'étoile /Mutine/Florent mothe/Grend corps malade- Mutine like Zaho is the modern side we bring on this album

 

Tu sauras/Zaho- More of a dance song, a little bit techno, a new essence on the album

there was another part about the song Ordinaire...

 

In this new tour, Celine is singing Ordinaire fom Robert charlebois, It was Celine idea , But René angélil who was loving that song was againt Celine singing it last year when Celine talked to him about it, last year in Boston.

 

He said to me: you can't do that , Drinking beer and singing with big Pierre .But he add that it was a great song, so i was going to feminise that song, Robert and Mouffe accepted to do that for me.

 

But why did Celine was absolutly wanting to sing that song, a song that could be for her like My way for Frank Sinatra, dixit Robert charlebois. Because i am ordinary(ordinaire) she says. People wants a part of me, they have my face tattooed on their arms or thighs, They want to marry in Ceasars with Because you love me playing, and the bride has false nails with my face on it. But when the curtain drop. They think i,m not accessible but the first thing i do is to remove my make-up and go play with my childs. Even if they find me so kind, it is more tha that, i am more orsinary than they think.

 

Lately, Robert Charleboisdid her a surprise. He sang her the new version, directly to her ,during Le grand show hosted by Michel Drucker , a program we will see this autumn.

 

I was a little bit ashamed of me, said Celine , i didn't want to cry, but it was a nice surprise. I really love Robert. And when he says to you: Tu es une fille bien ordinaire(you are really an ordinary girl) it goes straight to your body.

Sooooo happy we are still seeing the Zaho songs, that makes me so incredibly happy, was looking foward to those. I love venerouso so much, can't wait to see what his song brings. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM!!!!! I have a feeling because they released all this stuff that we will be receiving some updates soon!!!

to be honest i have no idea about those above.. but

I bet she helped with lots of songs.. we can see it in some songs in taking chances the making of, the new song ordinaire, she changed it, no?

if it is something like really big, sure no problem to put her name ( im sure she does not mind lol) i mean, if its HER song, its different..

But i think we all know she can compose.. i dont remember where, i think it was a book, that said that she had lots of notes written down, melodies in her mind sometimes, but she does not intend to show it to the world, at least at the time.. I think if its really truth .. damn id love to hear it lol

I think so, Celine herself said it was his favorite photo because of the smile.. well.. maybe for the single. but i do not doubt its quite obvious that its gonna be the album cover.

Wut....? Please inform all the dictionary publishers to substite the word "dance" with the word "Sorry for Love". Coz SFL is the worldwide dance anthem. And why call in the new SFL and not the new JDDMT or the new Shadow of Love or the new Unison. They are also dance songs with a nice beat.

 

I hate it when ppl here prejudge and overreacht due to enthusiasm before even have listened to a song. Like with "A Cause" back in 2007. People used to call it the french "Sorry for Love" before its release and only with the information that it is a dance song. And it has nothing to do with it. Or in 2004 with "I aint gonna look the other way" being the new "If walls could talk".

And I'm surprised with Céline's description of her new songs. I don't remember her using the word "techno" before!!

Or talking about a "modern side" to the album. Seems to me that she is getting more and more involved... it's a breath of fresh air!
