Would be nice. But im ok with her picking the best of the best.

 

I want songs that will showcase her voice lyrically and musically.

 

Her art is to create notes with her vocal cords. She's the best at it.

Some artists are best at writing poems, but lack the gift of singing... beautifully.

 

Combination of both artists makes magic!

Delles, SSDA, Dion Chante Plamondon needs more attention. I like SA, but it had its turn. Delles and SSDA didn't get repective tours and promo like the rest, well 1 fille and 4 types as well. It should be interesting to see what they choose. I see alot of covers, just my thought.

Erm I love SISDA but songs from that album had loads of exposure:

I'd much rather have them focus on songs that have never been performed (from 1F4T, D'Elles & SA) then play the same French songs again

1F&4T and D'elles are the only French albums that have not been brought to stage properly. And I think her upcoming French album will fall into the same category. During the upcoming summer tour she is supposed (according to Aldo I think...) to sing a couple songs from the album to introduce it to her fans which is a nice move. Probably for 3-4 years and then she'll go "I didn't know they would ask again so quick!" Then something like "to make a long story shorter, I'm back in Vegas. The best is yet to come!" but in all reality, I don't know what to think. I think she feels much more grounded there with the kids and all, but I don't know if she would want them to see the world more? It's a big thought for sure!

Now that I live in Los Angeles, I selfishly want her to stick around in Vegas at least until 2019 so I can drive over there a few more times. But I'd be thrilled if she did more tours in the near future!! :)

I see that happening. She rap up the Vegas show next year and then announce a world tour in the fall (im sure the album will be released then) and begin in 2018. I see mini tours in the UK and Japan between Vegas shows.

Yeah agreed songs from these albums are sorely missed in her concert set lists. I was so happy when I saw "Je Lui Dirai" in the programme on the Taking Chances World Tour only for it not to be performed. I would love to see this song in particular performed in Paris this suimmer.

I think we ALL agree at least on the fact that both 1f&4t and D'elles need more exposure. I like older songs but I could live without some for once!

 

And I totally agree about JLD. I was counting on it so much during TCWT! I always wanted to hear it live! It's such a joyful, positive, uplifting song! and its message is lovely! and it WAS a single after all. But probably they will go with a safe choice and include TLDH and EJTE.... But my fingers are crossed for JLD. This song really needs to get more attention. Along with TLDH it's the best song of the album.

There are several songs on 1 Fille & 4 Types that could translate well live. "Mon homme" is great, "Rien n'est vraiment fini", "Tu nages", "Contre nature"...wow. And "Ne bouge pas" would be fun live. D'elles is also a magical album. I think "Immensité" was my favorite song that she did in Paris in 2013. It was so captivating.

I think the French world will embrace Celine again. If her upcoming album manages to sell as much as Sans Attendre did I won't be surprised.

It's funny that even when Celine said she find it sad that she never 'lived' her album D'elles, she doesnt push for more songs to perform from that album...

I can't make any prediction about her English album though. It's a whole different world and her English career wasn't handled very well the past decade or so.

I see the english album being a challenge to sell.

 

But, I'd recommend a hit duet with a current singer, like Sam Smith, Adele, Ariana, Bruno or Gaga/ that'll be a backbone to keep the album talked about, then do all the big shows, Oscars, Grammys, Billboard, AMA, etc.

 

Introduce a new look/appearance, such as:

 

Darker hair, makeup artist, trendy dresses,

and so forth. (It helps get alot of attention from blogs and news outlets //fashion//)

 

 

Also do many interviews (actual interview, not same subjects,) fun stuff like Jimmy Fallon segments, SNL, Lip Sync Battle, Car Karaoke with what's his name, and promtion ads across Itunes, Youtube, Google, TV.

 

Do all the big morning/night shows (Fallon, Kimmel, GMA, AH, NL, Oprah, WW, TV, etc.

 

Do a new controversial MV, maybe with something like many celebs, or current events, idk, she can dress up as Mona Lisa or something, who doesn't know her.

 

Do a new photoshoot for the album and for certain Magazines (Vogue,V,People,Time, Glamour,etc.

 

Fewer Vegas shows this year, or do something interesting like invite certain artists in between, like Neyo did. (Such as Boys 2 Men, TI, Jlo, Mariah, Shania, Britney, Bruno, etc) — all had residencies in Vegas.

 

*Definately promote the album in the setlist,(let's say 4 songs from album) maybe sell the album with the tickets (probably will meet with negativity from critics) so bad idea.

 

Finally, set out on a world tour with a good opening act, I'd recommend Jessie J, Leona Lewis, or idk Mariah

 

Visit every continent, maybe 100 shows (20 in NA, 10 in SA, 25 in Europe, 20 in Asia, 10 in Africa, 10 in Australia, 5 in Antarctica.

 

After the tour, maybe do a small movie role.

 

Productive year, just my thoughts.
