The cancer has not "returned", as it has never left. Celine and the team has always been saying they are battling with Rene together, and it is not a short journey, but they do have a treatment plan. I don't see how this boston treatment trip sounds so sudden and things are going worse. It could indeed be part of their plan.

 

Well actually she did say that he was cancer free in the Paris Match interview last year. So it has gone and come back but we knew this already from the interviews in March. That said he is most likely in Boston for some specialist treatment, not because there is any new worrying development.

Glad to hear that Celine is singing The Prayer just one semitone lower than the original version, just like the outstanding World Children's Day performance in 2002 and the Central Park concert in 2011.

 

The 2008 CBS Special and TCWT / Vegas performances were all 2 semitones lower, I feel the song loses its power when it becomes too easy for her lol

Absolutely stunning pictures and of course she sounds AMAZING in the short clip. I really hope we get to see the full performance. It must be so hard for Celine just now but she gives her all in everything she does and once again showed what class she had. Proud once again to be a fan.
