It’s interesting that René mentioned that they were going to tour Australia in early 1997 but it ended up not happening, or was there a promotional tour in Australia around that time?

They started the Falling Into You in Australia in March 1996.

But she did a preview show in Australia with the Memphis outfit for the LTAL Tour in 1997.

After the ceremony, she performed at the Crown Showroom in Melbourne, Australia, and at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, United States, presenting a setlist similar to that of the Falling into You: Around the World tour, with the addition of "The Reason" and "My Heart Will Go On".

Yeah that MHWGO performance is from the FIY/LTAL mashup tour in the early 1998. I gotta say that the setlist is pretty interesting, i need a full recording of those early 1998 concerts.

For me it's just as hard  to watch any  old videos when you can see her struggling  as it is waiting for news these days. Some videos aren't too bad and others I'm uncomfortable when you can see everything she told us about SPS and suffering for so long

Nice to see a tiny bit of Tell Him footage, though I had a video of the TF1 recording from a friend in France and I don't remember seeing that song at all. Was it really shown on TV?

Also this is footage from the first night and only a few parts of that show are included in the official DVD, they mainly used footage from second show. So it's great to see more from the other show!

I love these images and seeing them raw and without effects like on the DVD. The show broadcast on TF1 that you own is the same as the DVD, or is it in raw image? for Tell Him yes she sing it at the Stade de France but during the performance there was a technical problem on the screen and Barbara was cut off, so they did not keep the recording of the song for the DVD. it was never broadcast, but she sang it well, yes.she sang the duet between Terre and J' irais ou tu iras .

The TV version did unfortunately have the same awful effects. And it was the exact same scenes as the DVD, made from night 2. But it was unpolished, raw audio. The audio for the DVD was much more polished when it was officially released. I did have this raw audio from the TV version uploaded on YouTube but it was removed for copyright reasons. I think another channel maybe reuploaded it.

Ok makes sense for Tell Him if there was a fault but why not use night 1 footage instead? We know they have recorded both nights.

The audio from TV broadcast  . For Tell Him i was told there was a problem with the lipsynching but I could be wrong. I agree with you, strange they didn't include the song from night 1

my sister was present at the 2 shows at the Stade de France, I have photos during tell him, there was a problem with the screen at the second show. Céline appears alone on the left of the screen and on the right the screen is black. I doubt that they filmed the entire first evening, I think they filmed passages for the next day in the news of France 3 and TF1 or the promotional spots like in these new videos on YouTube.the filmed shots of the news are those of the first evenings

I can only presume there wasn't enough combined footage. Or the footage they had from night 1 was just wide shots or something and it would have been weird to not change the shot for 60 seconds or however long it would be.

There was a playback/footage error with the second date of the tour (in Boston) where the audio was out of synch with the footage, the review questioned if the song was really live. So possibly you are thinking of that show.

The new promo trailers does show lots of songs from night 1 though, not just say the first one or two like for the usual news reports etc. And clips of night 1 does get used in ACDS but only here and there. You can tell because her hair was much smoother and slightly more makeup.

I really wish we had the unedited version, it looks so much better with the natural colours and lighting.

I never noticed what you mentioned about smoother hair and more pronounced makeup. could you show me some examples? I so agree with you, without the effects she is more beautiful and the details of her outfits are much more shiny and visible. whoever filmed and set up the recording really sabotaged the show. it's the same one who filmed the All The Way special at Radio City Music Hall. there are these same failed blur effects. only problem with  videos from JT and advertising for ACDS is the poor quality.

ONCP is a good example because it alternates a few times during this song. If you watch up to 1:43, this is all night 2 footage. Her hair is stuck behind her ear a little bit on this night, it's a bit messy.

At 1:43 it changes to night 1 footage, her hair is very smooth and her hair is not behind her ear on this night.

At 1:50 it changes back to night 2 footage.

At 2:10 it changes back to night 1 again with the smoother hair. And then back to night 2 at 2:30.

This happens during most of the songs, there is a change here and there to the other night, but nearly all of the show is from night 2 when her hair was behind her ear.
