Wow, that IYAMT performance was incredible. Great quality too. I enjoy her 1992 performances so much.

Would be neat to see the WDMHBN performance too as it would likely be the last ever fully live performance of it. 

Crazy how almost 35 years later we can see things for the first time ever still. Love it

Her Celine Dion era vocals are amazing. This also proves that there might be tons of VHS that contain lots of her unseen performances (and concert as well) out there. I hope someday we’ll get a full recording of her 1992 concert.

Speaking of the Celine Dion era, I have no idea of where/when this performance took place. Anybody knows? Judging by her look, it should be from December 91 / January 92 at most.

For me that era...her high notes etc, they really need a good quality speaker/ earpods to get the benefit and appreciate it fully, otherwise it can land up sounding quite shrill after a few songs, especially when the volume is quite high. Didn't she say once that was the thing to do in those days,  but she wasn't totally enjoying it all the time. I guess it's also with the singing in English thing, was always higher than in French

That might be the case but during that era she usually executed high notes so well and clean, hence why many of her best performances came from that era. The closest thing we have to a full concert recording is the Montreal 1992 broadcast and it’s one of her bests.

Kind of out topic but for me it’s kind of unfortunate that she had performed many times with Warren Wiebe but they never performed their original duet Listen to Me. I love that song so much.

If I'm not mistaken this was on/around October 29, 1991 at The National Arts Center in Ottawa, Canada. Maybe the rehearsal for the concert for Prince Charles and Princess Diana of Wales and the Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Her hair looks different than on that one press picture ... but Warren Wiebe and David Foster performed together with her for that occasion.

But the song is a little meh. I don't think average person would enjoy this song. As far as having it on tour or in concert.

So for me I am glad it did not end up on any tour. But I understand what you mean and there are a lot of songs we never seen full live but we have seen bits or parts or "what could have been" type moments.

Just for fun and out of curiosity, I created a Celine Dion playlist video and uploaded it to YouTube.

The idea is to recommend, from a fan’s perspective, that people who are less familiar with Celine discover sides of her they wouldn’t believe exist in her music. Celine Dion is not just ballads and the Titanic song - it’s time people realize and discover the magic that many of us have known for years.

This playlist doesn’t include the big hits that everyone already knows - and that’s exactly the point.

I’d love for you to check it out as fans, and of course, to comment on the video itself with what I asked: which songs surprised you the most that Celine performs.
I’d also appreciate a like to help promote the video. 🙂

I hope this video inspires many people to become new Celine Dion fans.
