It was recorded on September 17th, 1994 and aired the next day.This was during her stay in Paris for her first french concerts of her own, in the Olympia theater. For those interested, this TV show took place in the "Théâtre de l'Empire", a few meters away from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Sadly, the whole place was destroyed in a fire in 2005. 2 Quote

Celine is so humble... and it can feel like a bummer when she does so many tributes / covers when she's such an icon herself. But if they chose the right person - someone who's larger than life with fantastic songs like Donna Summer - I would be fine with it. Donna has so many fun, energetic songs that everyone knows.
