Wendy doesn't say anything bad, I actually laughed when I watched this. I only want happiness for Celine. If she finds that with a younger man this time, good for her!

You see...that's one of the things that make Celine who she is...she really genuinely cares. When she hugs someone, she hugs them with her entire self...it's not just a robotic "now-I-must-pretend-to-care" hug..Same when she smiles at people. Same when she spends hours before or after a concert signing autographs and taking selfies.

 

I recently watched an interview of an other artist who is now rather famous and they said that "I won't spend time taking selfies with my fans, I have better things to do with my time". I found that very VERY rude because fans are part of what makes an artist who they are...people caring, buying records, buying tickets, supporting the artist in any way they can. So if you can spend literally 3 seconds making another human being so happy, why not do it? You have the power to make another person's dream come true in a matter of seconds....why not do it?

 

So once again, (I know I'm preaching to the choir because we all love Celine), HATS OFF LADY! Hats off.

Yes, according to this, people were reluctant to record Celine because she had such a strong French accent. Edyta speaks about working with Christopher Neil, who - apparently - worked very patiently with Celine to get over the accent barrier. She also says she spoke with Chris shortly after Rene died; apparently he was at the funeral.

They both talk very warmly about meeting Celine and Edyta recalls getting some good advice from her and also says she can't handle watching Celine perform after Rene's death because it just breaks her heart...

I guess this must be referring to when Celine was making the Unison album and the Celine album, back when she was still learning the language and how to use proper pronunciation.

 

I remember Celine talking about that time period of her career before, saying that during that time, the producers and everyone she worked with were very patient with her and she was very grateful to them for taking the time out and believing in her.

 

Celine surely proved any doubters wrong in the end!

I agree. Her performance was amazing but you could feel and see what she was thinking, She was of course in pain. This song must be the most difficult song for her to sing.(since it was their song).Thank you for sharing

New Condor video!! Translation of a 1998 documentary about Rene (that was re-aired after his death). I've been waiting for a translation of this FOREVER! There's been a version of it on YouTube for awhile with a Portugese translation, but never an English translation. So glad to have this! Can't wait to see the rest! Thank you, Condor!!!
