I can't believe it's been that long.

Just got back from the memorial ceremony (which is happening right outside my door since I live basically across the street from the WTC site), and the entire thing still seems so unfathomable.

It's nice, I suppose. But I don't really get the attraction. They charge something like $35+ to go up an elevator...which I just don't understand.

(But then I also resisted paying to go up the elevator at the CN Tower when I lived in Toronto until I had to take some out-of-town visitors up, and have to admit, lying on that glass floor, looking down, is pretty rad!)

 

But yeah, that pic above is my current neighborhood. My apartment is just to the right of those boats.

Yeah, I discovered that one a few months ago... I've done a lot of digging since then and that is the earliest I have found of her flashing it on camera. Pretty cool!

OMG did you guys see this? A celine parody about her covering international hits in french and posting them on YouTube. Lol. The guy is pretty good at it! And the makeup is spot on! (That fake chin though lol). Anyway it made me smile (except maybe the allusions about her being available again, but I think it's an easy joke many would make). They've been doing it for several months at this point (that I'm aware of, at least; perhaps longer). Can't deny that's pretty cool.

And Postmodern Jukebox have been doing their version on tour for quite some time, too.
