This cd has so many songs she could release as a single, Heart of Glass is a good song and I don't understand how they didn't leave her in the normal version of the album.

I prefer Heart of Glass than Baby

I've been fiddling with the track list for the last week, too, but I'm having a tough time coming up my "perfect" version. I do have an order that I've mostly settled on, but I still think it could still use some tweaking until it's just right for me. This might sound weird, but the fact that there are so many songs is actually making it kind of tricky to come up with my ideal "listening experience" for this album. I'm also toying with the idea of treating it as a double album with each half chosen either based on the style of the songs, or separated thematically, so I can listen based on my mood.

 

I think I'll listen in your order a few times and see how I like it. Thanks for sharing!

 

I hear you! There are sooo many songs. Another thought I had was to mix the Motown-esque songs with LMBTL, but I haven’t tried it yet.

So my fave song on the album is Baby- but I had no idea why it was called Baby because I couldnt hear the word "baby" at all anywhere LOL!! I've heard in the chorus "I'll be bayy ya ya ya ya... and then "Come to bayyyy yayy" then I found the lyrics so I thought when she was singing the chorus that she was saying the word "baby" backwards in something that Sia came up with like " beee bayyy ayyy yah" and now I finally can hear "oh baby" and "come to me" took a few hundred listens but I get it now. I actually love the odd pronunciations in her songs. Keeps things interesting Edited by superstar85ca

Ohh that isn't good. I got mine about a week before I received the CDs. Maybe try to contact Ticketmaster or wherever you bought the tickets from?

 

I still never got a shipping confirmation, but I e-mailed just now and got an almost immediate reply that it shipped on the 19th, so I should get it 7-10 business days later. Better late than never...

The album is now available to pre-order on Red vinyl from Amazon.com for release in February, but when is the UK getting it? Edited by ObsessiveCelineDisorder

I'm falling more and more in love with album every day. I now I see what many of you are saying about this being her best album since LTAL. For those of you still having a hard time, sit with the lyrics and listen to Celine's emotion. I don't know another album where she was so artistically and personally connected to most of the songs.

Why is there 2 albums Courage (Deluxe Edition) on Spotify?

Yea I struggled with this, too. I guess it's because they're technically two different releases. IMO the 4 additional songs on the deluxe version are the best on the album so for people that didn't buy it they are really missing out and not getting the best gems on the album. :mellow:

Nielsen SoundScan (which is used by Billboard and about to be acquired by them) still hasn't updated (their system was down after an update over the weekend) but as of EOD Monday, it was at 67k (49k on Fri, about 2.5k on each of Sat & Sun, 12k on Mon). I assume that's without the tour bundle.

I do feel she's heading to LA once this batch of Montreal shows is over.

It's late, but they could still announce her for the AMAs (they just announced presenters today, and if she actually does have a #1 album tomorrow - as seems likely - it would be good timing).

And, it seems a lot of the West Coast media has largely held off from publishing much about the album - maybe they don't care, sure, but maybe it's by design.

I think this week was originally slotted for LA, after NYC last week, but they had to rework things to allow for the Montreal rescheduling.

They could have rescheduled the remaining 2 Montreal shows for this Sun / Mon (doesn't look like the Habs are playing and the venue seems free), but they didn't. So I'm thinking that's because she's otherwise engaged.
