They talked about the album this morning on a Québec TV station. They played snippets of Courage, Lovers Never Die, Nobody's Watching and... Heart of Glass!!! So good to hear it!!

Ok, I finished my first listen. In my opinion the album is too long and at first all songs sound the same, but there is one song that stands out:

How Did You Get Here: I've been thinking about you More than I want to...

And you were right about her pronunciation, is horrible in comparision to her 90s albums.

I haven't been posting for quite some time. I just want to say, THAN YOU CELINE! A beautiful new current sounding album, with the most generous tracklist, meaningful songs, amazing cover, two music videos,so far, for two of the best songs, another mv on the way and long world tour ahead. Much more than most of us, your loyal,hiper-demanding fans, expected.

Now that we have lyrics, “Baby” makes much more sense to me. I kept hearing “I’ll be there” and not “Oh baby.” I was like...why did they call this song “Baby?!”

How anyone can say this album sounds the same throughout I do not know..

 

Every song has its own melody, sounds and genre. The theme throughout is coherent if that’s what you mean?

 

You have to get used to Celines new way of singing, in lower registers which actually I’ve fallen in love with. Not heard this part of her voice before on a record, and I think that’s what’s striking on a first listen. Give it a few more goes and you will be in love.

 

What I love about this album is the higher, normal notes from Celine are much less. This is intentional. Before you know it, the celine we know and love bursts through a song, reminding us all she is still the greatest singer in the world. It was time for change and with this album, it’s just that.

 

Well done Celine... you did it!

She is really different on this album! I have just read on celinedion.com the official lyrics of “Nobody’s Watching” and indeed it reads: I wanna party like a belieber

I heard “believer” before. And there is a weird discrepancy because the lyrics on Apple Music have a “believer” and the cd.com has “a belieber”. I am a bit surprised they’d put that in a song, but it’s cool.

I went to the Nov. 1 show and no word on my album shipping either..

I haven’t received my album shipping .. and my show was in October . I need to investigate

Hmm… my show was in September and I haven't received my album shipping confirmation.

 

So we all filled out the redemption form and yet still no word on shipping wow Ticketmaster sure isn't going in order. It's like they are sending them out randomly. And with it being the weekend I don't even know if they ship things out over the weekend or if we will have to wait ugh I'm so annoyed. If any of you get anything over the weekend or hear back from Ticketmaster in any way let me know. I'm checking my email all the time now.

I am in love with this album, my favorites are Lovers never die, Nobody's watching, How did you get here, Look at us now (the low notes ) Best of all, Heart of glass, Boundaries, The hard way. The only song I don't really like is For the lover that i lost.

 

After hearing the album she has to change the set list. It's kind of like an old/new Celine thing. I would imagine that they will take in consideration how much success this album has to make that decision.

 

I thought i was going to miss Play me like a love song, but i didn't, the album is that good, IMO.

I sent Change My Mind to a friend of mine who is very critical of Celine and not a fan, and she said she liked it. She found it very modern and different and she loved Celine's relaxed singing approach. Said the song has a Lana Del Rey vibe.

 

I sent her Perfect Goodbye as well and I am waiting for her review!

My plan is to continue sending her songs as long as she likes them. We are on stage 2 now. Next should be Boundaries. Then I can send Heart Of Glass.

Mine was sent yesterday but it was in my spam folder in Gmail. It would come from TM Orders or Celine Dion-TM Orders. I had to hunt mine down....try a search with that and see if it pulls up.

 

Tried all my folders nothing yet ugh When is your show? Mine is in April i really hope it comes soon I'm honestly annoyed right now. I did save the screencap of the order though luckily but still I don't want to resort to having to harass them to see why i haven't received a confirmation email yet.
