70 min of music, still that's a long album to listen to :)

 

And that also leaves space to add more tracks for future special/collector editions? :P (dreaming now yeah)

So average length of remaining standard songs is 42/12 around 3 and half minutes. For deluxe songs its 14/4 also 3 and half minutes.

There are still around 30 tracks that Celine herself "wants to release somehow" so we'll see. Like she said, she can do 3 more albums with all those songs, but I guess they'll be eventually given/recorded by other artists soon or what's worst, they will remain locked up inside a drawer :rolleyes: Edited by Javito

Jut compare to Mariah latest album Caution, 10 songs and 38:26 total length. Imagine the meltdowns of some people here if Celine did that :-D

 

Interesting reading on songs length in the last two decades:

Using Spotify data to determine the length of a song and then weighing that data by how many weeks it spends on the Hot-100, we can see that the average duration of a track has been steadily decreasing each year.

 

From well over 4 minutes to now around 3 and a half, the average hit song is getting markedly shorter.

I’ve been noticing that for years, too. The days of the 5 minute song (which LTAL had many of) are long gone. Most songs are more like Ashes: 3:15

OMG, i made the same kind of dream two days ago ... and i was relieved because "Lovers never die" was "Play me like a love song" .

I was so sad when i woke up ...

I have trauma about her shows here but I will keep it to myself lol,

I think the snippets will come next week?

Talking about snippets, comparing to other albums, they could be available as early as 1 November and as late as 13 November.

Sans attendre had snippets released on 18.10, while album was released on 2.11 2012

LMBTL had snippets on 19.10, and album was released on 1.11.2013

EUS had snippets released from 16 to 24.8 and album was released in 26.8.2016

I had a similar dream days ago, it wasn't a Celine song, I guess it was a Taylor Swift song haha. I don't listen to her music, so when I woke up I was surprised that song was so good. I searched the lyrics on google but it seems that was my mind who made up that song because I couldn't find it. Minutes later I completely forgot the lyrics.

Well, if you look to ANDHC total running time, it's around 78 min. in the Collector's Edition case... and GTSW/Prayer are around 5 minutes so... We can dream that almost one or two songs (hopefully PMLALS) it's around 5 minutes...

No joke, I had a similar dream that 4 new songs songs got released!! In this dream, I actually had the will power to NOT listen to them... that’s how I knew it wasn’t real :-D

Haha, right!! I’ve been telling myself I’m not gonna like come in the forum till album release week, not that I don’t LOVE coming on here but that maybe it would keep my mind off of it, haha, but it hasn’t happened yet so I gave up and just come on here everyday haha.

I actually like the official album cover. Although I’m not a fan of this particular font as (apparently) the recent standard font for her, I must say that it looks very good and suitable on that album cover.

I also think it had its day. To me it is too 1990s. Perfect for a young artist. But Celine is in a different league than she was. I liked that it was hidden on the ANDHC cover and I think that was somewhat to show us that she was shedding that image but it's a part of her.

They still used it in Un peu de nous and The Best So Far, 2017 and 2018 compilation albums... and it's still back and present in all her merchandising.

 

Well, we don't need it to be full size like in TCOML cover, but in a small, discrete size, I'll never dislike it :wub:
