How do we know that there actually is an English version of EUS? Was it ever officially confirmed or mentioned, or are these just speculations?

I hope that ashes is part of the album. It was a massive recent success for Celine and regarding the views on youtube, spotify etc. it's on the same level as her hits...it deserves to be included in a real album.

But I hope this album will have more than 12 tracks, if Recovering and Ashes are on it, 16 or even 17 tracks would be amazing.

Celine doesn't need autotune. BUT Celine's team needs to learn with Madonna how to promote her songs and albums.

 

With many music videos the Madame X was released yesterday. It is already #1 in 60 countries.

 

Wake up Sony!!! Release the FOMO studio version and a great music video before Summer! Please.

 

No, actually release a song with a contemporary vibe and edgy lyrics ... FOMO is like the Sesame Street version of EDM and it has literally zero hit potential. This is probably why Sony decided not to release it as the lead single and replaced it with the rumoured Guetta track.

 

It's inconceivable to me that Sony would release the live version of an unreleased song and then release the actual version a few weeks later. All that accomplishes is confusing listeners and splitting the streams / downloads between two new tracks. If there's a strategy behind the live release it can only be that they aren't releasing it.

 

If you want to destroy a new product, release a virtually identical one with the same name around the same time and then just sit and watch as people struggle to differentiate between the two and then just decide not to buy either.

 

Let's look to the future! If this is one of the scraps they are throwing us to appease us before the first single, then they must have better material.

even though they might have better material than FOMO it wouldn’t hurt to release the actual studio version for summer as a gift to fans and a „fire starter“ for the album as well as an anthem for her new chapter after Vegas etc. Still, I’m very happy that we’ve at least got the live version. What are y'alls thoughts on bonus tracks? I'm sure there will be some. Anyone else thinking YTV might also be a bonus track? Someone posted in the links thread a montage of all the songs she's sung first before recording: AS, TSMGO, etc. As much as she loves that song, more so than the others it seems, I'd be surprised if she hasn't recorded this yet.

A lot of non-fans around me really like FOMO and they all thought it has the same vibe as Kelly Rowland’s When Love Takes Over, which is a good thing. It’s a real shame that EDM elements in the live version of FOMO have been toned down though, I don’t think Scott Price is doing a good job with Celine’s uptempo songs, his arrangements for IDAN, IA, TTWIT and FOMO have all that same annoying corny orchestral sound.

I would love Love Of My Life as a bonus... but the way they record covers after the ANDHC era is just awful. The only decent recordings with nice production are Alone and At Seventeen.

I think it’s a matter of taste. I don’t like her greatest hits to be orchestrated and altered to sound like she is giving a show for 70+ people. It might have been necessary for the second residency show in LV, given the average audience there, but it’s enough now. Vegas is finally over. Let’s keep it like that. Sorry, just my opinion. I think they got the orchestra band because of the concept of the show before. Back in 2011, all were classics like jazz and hollywood themes like James bond so more orchestral arrangements. And more ballads that really fits the orchestral arrangements. But since 2011, i was disappointed for uptempos it doesn’t work well. It sounded bland. For Ballads, it’s better if it’s orchestra but for uptempos. UHHH NO! IT’S BAAAAD and the new album is a different sound. So, they need to eliminate the orchestra for a while and go back to a regular band like in TCWT/AND

yaeh, and by the way, I absolutely hated the 2011 version of the Vegas show. It was beyond boring and I was really disappointed and no longer interested. But since 2015 it was finally Celine again! Not like AND, but much better than in 2011.

In which countries did Madame X actually reached the number one on the Album Charts?? Wasn't that just the streaming/download charts of the day, where it might have been at the top just when it was released? Those aren't official charts.

 

If I look at some European charts I don't see any no 1 position, her album enters the Album charts at 2 (Australia, Italia, Netherlands, UK and Belgium), 5 (Germany) and 10 (Sweden) or even 11 (Japan)... Yes it is number 1 in the USA, but she 'always' debuts at 1 there).

BTW I am not a Madonna hater, I actually have tickets to see her in Paris BUT I don't like it when people/fans make claims that aren't true. I didn't like the new song, new video each week approach, cos it takes away the experience of listening to an album in full for the first time. I just want a lead single with a proper video and then a full album. But maybe I am old fashioned.
