In some ways I almost get a sia vibe from this. I know it wasn’t written by her, but considering Céline has been liking sia lately, I wonder if this is what some of the new songs will be like?

This is good, collaborations with producers, different singers, bring different styles and current, will be very good, I will not create expectations, but I hope this album surprises us.

The refrain was quite hard to digest for me at the beginning. Felt odd, corny and slightly awful. But after a while it got quirky and nice and the dorkyness got cool.

 

Very nice production wise! Can't wait to hear Céline in something like this. And please let it be a coherent feeling throughout the album and not just one song sounding like this! Try to go for a similar sounf in MOST of the songs. They've done it the other way for so long, it's way overdue to dare to go against that.

I may not have the popular opinion right now, but if Celine's album is anything like those 2 Noyes songs people have posted, then I will be very disappointed. To me, they are very mediocre and I would get tired of them within a few days. The lyrics are bland, middle of the road. And besides the beat and the melody line of the singer, there was not much there in the songs. And the vocal has a raspy (as Celine calls it, "bedroom voice") quality, which I hope Celine does not do for this upcoming album. I want her pure rich voice like I hear in her concerts.

This is not getting my hopes up for a timeless, but modern Celine album. And yes, it looks like we are getting this sooner than later than Celine told us.

Though I really like that London song but yeah it make me afraid that we will get that similar voice, I want the old Celine.

And to be honest I'm not excited about Sia's songs. I'm lil bit bored with her music style, unless if Celine can make the song her "own" if that make sense.

Me neither..this is bubblegum stupid popmusic where Celine should stay away from. No need to do this overly hip style. Hate the refrain..does sound sia like.

I want timeless Celine songs that can be her new signaturesongs! Not this...

Not sure what to think of the song from the Maty girl, but then I think those songs were written for her and her style. Doesn't necessarily mean this is the style that will be written for Celine. I know they will try to go for a modern sound but feel they will still keep The Celine feel to the song.

If they push yet another bedroom voice album on the fans who love Celines voice for sounding like Celine, it would be a big mistake. She can still grow as an artist and at the same time remain true to her voice.

Hadn't heard of her either, looked her up and pretty sure she's 19 or 20. She's practically RC's age! Strange to think she was born around the time when MHWGO came out. Hoping she brings something fresh and different to the album, but no bedroom voice!
