This is the best news possible for this album. Period. I can't ask for more now

 

someone will be happy, hey Javito... My husband too, a new day is his favorite song from Celine.

 

I'm beyond happy! But scared at the same time. They have the chance to create another piece of art and a top song with both powerful music and outstanding lyrics and message, but they can ruin it too.

 

I hope they keep in mind what they did in 2001 with A New Day Has Come and keep at least the same level as back then. That song is about love, but without crossing the cheesy line. ANDHC was written about Céline's motherhood, but the message can be reinterpreted and adapted into cents of situations depending on the listener. It's a ballad and yet it's more than that. The message is way bigger than the usual love song. It's about life and its journey too.

 

Very few Céline songs have achieved this, few can be considered "great love songs" without being considered cheesy and corny at the same time.

 

I know it's possible! It would be just amazing if they continued the jorney with a song in the same mood/message of hope and love as ANDHC :blush:

That's what scares me the most. Having so many people participating in the album, each one coming from so many different backgrounds in music. That's how LMBTL went, and it was a total disaster.

 

I'd rather have 2-3 different songwriters and a couple of producers to give the album the same coherent flavour, than 17 different ones

I think the main reason why LMBTL was a disaster goes for the "wehavenoclue" from the start of that album, vegas songs etc.

 

ANDHC had a lot of different writers and even classic covers but it turned out great.

 

I'm curious about the duets they planning...

Yeah ---- I think they can have a lot of different producers and songwriters and still achieve a fantastic album.

 

Fingers crossed! She's been in great vocal form lately so this is exciting. I hope she's enjoying the recording process and finding it to be fulfilling. I think she feels the love & respect from other artists / the general public lately so that's wonderful.

I think even if they have multiple artists it will still work. I mean look at Encore Un Soir, multiple artists but messages of hope were throughout all the songs. I think it’s very possible!

If its just a few and the quality of this album is as good as LTAL album, i don’t mind it.

I'm excited about this album and frankly I have no idea why. Maybe it's the fact that we know nothing about it. Maybe it's the fact that I believe her voice is In better shape than it's been in for years. Or maybe it's just the fact that is wishful thinking that it's going to be a great album to follow up Encore Un Soir since I was well surprised on how much that album was good.

 

I just have a good feeling that finally we are getting another masterpiece in English, let's be honest the last Great album she had was A NEW DAY HAS COME and that was released 15 years ago.

 

I feel good about this album even tho we really don't know much. It's not the same feeling I had prior to TC or even when I knew LMBTL was supposed to 6 covers and 6 new songs and then they changed their minds and the whole thing was just done so cheaply and fast.

 

The fact that this album she is taking her time and keeping hush about it, excites me and I'm ready!!

Yeah I keep remembering how we knew about Ma Faille in October of 2015 and we know no song titles for this album. I’m so excited, because if she takes her time, it’s gonna be amazing, it just must be!

That's what I'm afraid for.. the productions.

Ecore ur Soir was a nice album but in production and arrangements there's a lot to criticizes

Seeing Humberto Gatica so much involved, after all the disappointments he delivered in the last few years, I don't like it. (never thought I would say that about him). Also having Scott Price so much involved in recording works.. why? Go focus on Celine's live performances and experience. Leave the albums to the rightful producers that belong to the songs.

 

Anyway.. I have a good feeling about the album in general. So let's hope Gatica just captured her voice and isn't producing or arranging

Because it seems they have a direction, a plan. Even we don't know a thing for sure.

 

With LMBTL it was obvious they didn't know what to do and changed the direction of the album many times.

 

I think this new album will be a great mix of everything, ballads, uptempo just like EUS.

Only thing that makes me a bit nervous is the time she is working on this album, that they will loose the vision they have over the years. But who knows exactly when they really choose and recorded songs.

 

And this is the first english one where Rene isn't in control on what she is supposed to sing.

He had some great ideas and visions about songs, but let's be honest I think Celine has proven that she is very capable on choosing songs she likes to sing now.

 

(Doesn't mean I think she is doing the right thing with Vegas, but that's something else. Her tours had proven to me that she is better without Rene telling her we like the D'eux songs everyfreaking time)

 

So that why I am extremely excited about this new album. And it's about time they release some info haha.
