What I think is that Céline's team wouldn't have teased us NOW with those recording session photos if the album will be released NEXT FALL (= almost a year after).

The one possibility that the March 30th date may be true is the fact that her birthday does fall on a Friday which is the day of the week new music usually premieres at least here in North America.

CD, FIY & ANDHC were released around her bday... and they sold millions tho it's good to have the Xmas sales... her last English albums were released in the end of the year... but forgotten in January... I'd rather have an album with a long life... besides if she dropped an album on her 50th, that's half the promotion for free!

 

I love these exciting times before a new album is released! I hope these rumours are true! But as they sound too good to be true... I won't get my hopes up until the montreal newspaper writes about it

And I do hope the album hits #1. There's a great chance it will since it's her first English release since Rene's passing, and there's been a lot of new interest and respect for Celine from the general public lately. Hope her team is smart with their promo. She should do SNL!

I think Céline could make a decent (French) actress if she put her mind to it, but I'm not sure if she has the patience to be in a movie tbh. Making movies is a slow and painstaking process and she loves instant gratification/ audience reaction 😁

As smw mentioned above, I think the upcoming English album will get a lot of media coverage since it will be Celine's first English release since René's passing. That alone is probably starting to create big expectations in the industry.

 

Let's not forget all the attention she's received over the past two Summers thanks to her new image as a Fashion icon, hopefully a new English album could be the perfect excuse to finally have her on the cover of Vogue!

 

And by the way, I personally don't trust these rumours about the album/tour. I'll believe it when there's an official word from her team. On the other hand, I'm quite worried that she might not film a music video for the first single as happened with Loved Me Back To Life back in the day...
