If they don't include To Love You More her team have missed the plot! They should make a big deal out of the song... The crowd will go wild!!

 

It has always been one of my fav songs ever since I heard it when I was 7 and I played it over and over..... It is a special song for me... It gave me chills... Chills I'd never experienced before

Great set list! I made two minor tweaks above to help make it more in line with what I feel are better Asian song choices. With that said, I love your inclusions of "Thank You" and "That's The Way It Is"!

I like it. Although I would love to keep Alone some way in. Yeah, "Thank You" has the potential to be a great hit! Her team just can't see it I guess...

How about switching "The Reason" for "Be The Man"? It will further represent the "Let's Talk About Love" album, while promoting an Asian-only single. And, yes, I agree with you about "Thank You." It may not be a dramatic ballad, or infectious dance song, but it is a beautiful and meaningful song. It has far more depth to it than some of her other songs that went big (i.e. "The Power Of Love").

I certainly did get tired of it a few years ago. It was performed at every show in the FIY and LTAL tours, which was fine as it was released as a single in Asia and also later in the US. However, I really did not like the shortened version they used in AND and TCWT, I didn't mind them cutting the second verse and chorus for the medley, but to cut out half of the first verse too was one step too far. If they had kept it and performed it like the 1998 Rosie O'Donnell performance it would have been fine. However, I was disappointed they didn't make a big deal out of the song in the Asian part of the TCWT. Celine really should have done a speech after BYLM and introduced the song, and then performed the full 90s version of the song.

 

I wouldn't say I miss the song in Celine's current show, but I certainly understand its popularity in Asia and appreciate it is a beautiful song, so they definitely need to make a big deal out of it if she does tour here

I love TR... But IMO Alone is a simular song... If she would have sung both songs, it would have been too much of the same thing!

There were some shows of her LTAL tour where she didn't sing TLYM. Instead she sang The Power of Love. It might have just been a few shows that this happened but I known that this was the case for the Halifax stop of the LTAL tour.

I Love You is a very famous song in the Philippines as well. It was played on our radio stations heavily and as often as MHWGO. And also "I Love You Goodbye". She can't do a show here in the Philippines without performing those two songs which is so famous here.

It would be PHENOMENAL if Celine sings some songs from her past catalogue! What a great gift that would be to us fans. If I heard her sing I LOVE YOU after all these years -- I'd melt!

 

I truly hope her team doesn't play it safe for these concerts. I agree that they should be TO LOVE YOU MORE a huge deal. It should be the encore!

 

I hope these concerts feel fresh and new. Even if there's playback -- let it be fresh and new playback! And some exciting backdrops and lighting! And beautiful, sexy costumes!

 

I hope we get some phenomenal bootlegs AND a cd/dvd release!!!

Celine's Concert Dates in Japan Announced!

Celine Dion, the biggest selling female artist of all time, is returning to Asia for an exclusive series of concerts in October and November of 2014. Celine will be performing in several countries for the very first time and she’ll be returning to Japan, where she toured in 2008 as part of her record-breaking “Taking Chances World Tour”.

CELINE’S CONCERTS IN JAPAN ARE AS FOLLOWS:

NOVEMBER 11 –NAGOYA – NAGOYA DOME

NOVEMBER 14 – OSAKA – OSAKA DOME

NOVEMBER 18 & 19 – TOKYO – TOKYO DOME

 

Accompanied by 15 musicians including a full band and horn section, Celine will perform some of her biggest hits with a stunning visual presentation specially designed for Asia.

“I’m so excited about doing this tour. It’s going to be a lot of fun going back to Japan. We’ve always received so much love and support from the fans over there… I can’t wait to see them” said Celine.

Celine’s shows in Asia, produced by AEG Live are her only scheduled concerts outside of Las Vegas in 2014.

Yay! I had a feeling this would happen! Can't wait to see what she does with it! Since it's only in Japan at the moment, Celine will do TYLM for sure I bet. I hope it's much more then a "Vegas-on-wheels" setlist. I can't wait to see some videos and have some audio when this happens!
