Concerts in Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines in Oct & Nov, 2014

All those issues around permission for a concert in the US is quite mysterious. To be honest, I clearly understand Caesar's and I agree with their politics (they don't want to lose Celine who brings all the people to them) but of course it'd be awesome if Celine gave more concerts within the US too. Under such circumstances I don't understand one thing, Celine and her team shouldn't have a problem with getting a permission if they decide to organise a concert with songs that are NOT performed in Vegas.... Then it wouldn't be harmful for the show and it would beneficial both for us and Celine.

 

It seems strange that when they do something outside Vegas, they don't change the concept... because then why would people go to Vegas?

The French concerts makes sense to me... It's totally not like the shows in Vegas I remember that during the run of AND, some people really asked me if she was still in the show business , since they haven't heard from her in a while i think that it is a good thing that she does some shows outside Ceasars Palace

Okay sorry but not sure if this was already said, but based on the news of Rene retiring and everything, looks like these shows aren't happening after all. still not 100% confirmed whether it is true or not, but in an article it said that Celine is considering cutting back on her Vegas shows and spending more time with Rene and her family because of all of this.

Also, the interview with Norm Clarke that will be posted tomorrow said that Celine "thinks he is doing good" because he is playing poker and seems to be doing just fine. Now there's not a lot of certainty in that statement, sooo based on that, I don't think these shows are happening.

 

But who knows, something might happen with this new managing job and maybe they asked Aldo to be the manager so the shows can go on and everything, who knows! With time we'll see

He said this after they asked him what is in the future.... He couldn't say what was in store but he did mention concerts in Asia

I don't think those shows will happen this fall November is just 4,5 months away. I'm sure if those shows are going to happen wouldn't we already have ticket sales and stuff like that Fans also need time to book there tickets to fly in. Maybe she is doing Asia april next year or so, and I see her doing Europe again in the fall of 2015 I surly don't hope so since I want to spent new years eve 2015/2016 in Las Vegas... So anyone who wants to join the party... the more fans the better!

IF these shows do go on as has been rumored (and slightly confirmed by Aldo), I sure hope the set list will be something fresh and modern, with a bit more "heart" to it. That's not to say Celine has no heart, and that her music has no heart. However, there has always been "something" missing from her set lists, in my opinion. (A few exceptions being the one-time performance of "A Song For You" in Europe, and the little Japanese song in Japan during the "Taking Chances World Tour.") Doing the Chinese song she did a while back again would be a good start.

My poor country... Even her French albums go to #1 here and she still hasn't given 1 f****** concert...! LMBTL was available with a newspaper last year (sales that are actually taken seriously here due to the financial crisis and all) and managed to sell 100k in total. And sales number incl everything, at least in Holland Itunes, GooglePlay and Spotify downloads are counted as sales as well. If they wouldn't do that sales numers are like 0

At least in this day and age we will have tons of bootlegs to watch and listen to! So, even if they don't release an official CD/DVD, we'll still see the concert!

 

I also think it's great that Celine is doing concerts outside of Las Vegas. If she waited until 2019 to do any sort of tour again -- she certainly would've lost a connection to her worldwide fan base.

 

I actually wish she did more concerts outside of Las Vegas. More appearances like ones at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival. Even if it was just a handful throughout the year. It would help to keep Celine's star shining.

 

It's a bit unfortunate that she is not allowed to do any concerts in North America. I know Las Vegas is in the states -- but a lot of people don't go to Vegas. And Celine not doing much outside of Vegas has certainly taken a toll on her popularity here -- as was obvious when LMBTL was released. One of the highlights of the LMBTL promotion was the small concert in NYC. That was so refreshing!!! I wish she would make more appearances like that in the US and outside of the US.

 

She really needs to go back to the UK -- considering how well received LMBTL was.
