ryba Posted June 2, 2014 at 07:00 PM Posted June 2, 2014 at 07:00 PM A European mini tour would be amazing, but I think that due to the Vegas contract she might not be allowed to do concerts in English-speaking countries and that's why she did a tour in France and now in China. However, some concerts in the UK, even if only a small prodction or an unplugged show, would be amazing Quote

J081113 Posted June 2, 2014 at 07:55 PM Posted June 2, 2014 at 07:55 PM (edited) Well her contract was for 3 years so you never know. Was it 100% confirmed? C.P's President wouldn't comment on the extensiom (during that travel show with fireworks article or something) I also read what Robin Leech put on his site. Yes, they needed special permession.... plus the setlist had to be very different than Vegas. Did the performance in Jamaica need permission? The setlist was really similar to the Vegas show, the only difference was some songs weren't sung and the addition of THLAL. Same for the New York performance in October. SuperLove4Celine Posted June 3, 2014 at 12:51 AM Posted June 3, 2014 at 12:51 AM (edited) I would assume the contract only applies to the United States and its territories, Puerto Rico and Canada. I have no idea if Mexico is included as that country can be categorized as either North America or Central America. Anyway, I'd LOVE to see Celine follow-up with the acoustic/unplugged show idea for England. There are so many songs that would sound amazing in an acoustic setting:"Think Twice""Taking Chances""A New Day Has Come""Have You Ever Been In Love""Faith""Because You Loved Me""Eyes On Me""Pour que tu m'aimes encore""You And I""In Some Small Way""Somebody Loves Somebody""Tout l'or des hommes" Edited June 3, 2014 at 12:52 AM by SuperLove4Celine 2 Quote
browseceline Posted June 3, 2014 at 07:57 AM Posted June 3, 2014 at 07:57 AM I would not be fair to her fans in the rest of europe ehen she only would do a minitour in england. We in holland, germany, italy, greece, etc deserve to see her as well! Kyle_Jared Posted June 3, 2014 at 04:09 PM Posted June 3, 2014 at 04:09 PM (edited) Doesn't Celine consider "5" her lucky number? Not that I believe in luck, but I know she works like that, so I wouldn't be surprised that when she is 50, she'll do a world tour. (depnding on when in 2019 she is done Vegas) or maybe she just goes to end of 2018. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was her last world tour--ever. Now, that would be fair. Can you imagine how happy her fans in Tuvalu, Tokelau, Suriname, Comoros, etc. would be?! She would become the first artist to perform on every country. It would be beautiful. 1 Quote http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/backup674/Banners/Image1.jpg

I've been dying for Celine do to an unplugged show here though. A one-off show. Just her and a small band, completely live. Like her "corporate gigs" lol Or to do a one-off show anywhere in the world where the audience request the songs. OMG! 2 Quote

Sadly these days, even when Celine is paid millions to do corporate gigs, she still uses her concert playbacks. The videos we have seen from such events over the past 3 years have featured a shortened Vegas setlist. I'm sure she wouldn't have done this a few years ago Quote
