Hopefully I will be getting my poster from the music store round about the 25th Nov. when I went into the store to buy a other cd, I asked them what they do with the posters. He seemed unsure, so I asked if I could please buy it from them. Then he said I can have it, first come first served. They are taking it down 24th or 25th Nov. They took my cell number and will phone me. Don't know where I'm going to put it, it is so huge, from the ceiling down to the floor. I will phone them the Friday 22nd Nov.

Received the LMBTL cd single on saturday.

Received the LMBTL deluxe cd yesterday - listened to it whilst doing the ironing!

Received the LMBTL vinyl with cd today.

Jonathan Ross repeated tonight.

 

Overall, a Celine feast this week - i've waited sooooooo long! Well since 2007/8. Soooo long.

 

First impressions of the album (no, hadn't heard it, and hardly heard any LV bootlegs too):

 

Really like it.

Loving (at the moment) Breakaway, Incredible, Thankful, Somebody Loves Somebody (Eyes on Me part 2), Water and a Flame, Unfinished Songs.

 

DKL, SYS,TY,ABYG i think will probably grow on me!

 

Even enjoyed Lullabye, HDYKTMP, and yes, Overjoyed. Didn't like the beginning, and there are better SW songs, but hey, i didn't switch it off!!!! So that means something.

 

Loving the fact we've got vinyl!!!

 

Shame the cd/dvd combi never appeared. Meant to be released on the 12th and still not available. Hoping for it later on though. We always have dvd sessions - it's a given for Celine releases isn't it?? Overall, thinking this album will stay with me longer than TC did, woohoo!!

Thanks I've got the itunes on my phone but with Celine I always love to have the physical copy of the album. I was hoping the itunes one would keep me going till my package arrives but my orders are taking so long to come.

Celine Dion to host CBS' annual adoption special

CBS says Celine Dion will host a holiday special spotlighting adoption.

The network says Dion also will perform on the 15th annual "A Home for the Holidays," along with Ne-Yo, Chris Young and others.

The special will introduce families and the children they adopted from foster care. Among them is a Los Angeles couple inspired to act after seeing last year's program, and a young man who lived in 11 foster homes before a Washington woman adopted him.

According to the Department of Health & Human Services, there are about 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S.

Presenters of "A Home for the Holidays with Celine Dion" include the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network.

The hour-long special airs 8 p.m. Eastern on Dec. 18.

True! I dislike the studio version of ''Overjoyed'', but I think a live performance might be good for her sales. It's obvious the US market only wants that kind of songs from Celine.

i second the above question...who knows the best place to get the japanese edition and for the best price? specifically if it makes a difference to have it delivered to the USA..

 

also (and actually preferably!) is there a site we know of that will sell individual MP3s of the japanese album if we just want to buy open arms?? and not iTunes as it won't let you shop another country's store without having credit card/address in that country...

This will be perfect for album sales to continue. At least we know we'll have this push. My assumption is she'll perform one Christmas song and INCREDIBLE??

In the UK tonight it's 'Children In Need' night, a huge annual TV charity fundraiser/telethon for disadvantaged children. I wish Celine could have recorded a performance for this show - it would have boosted weekend sales and helped her chart positions!
