You all love to complain, but you know you'll still buy her albums, still tune in to see her on TV, still read about her in magazines. Did anyone see how incredible she was in Quebec in July? That was one of my favourite ever Celine shows!

I agree. Actually we shouldn't be dragging anyone's name under the bus in order to excuse Celine's bad moments!

 

Thing is this perfomance was not bad, so I have no idea why people either get offensive or defensive about it. We shouldn't compalin, we shouldn't excuse. She did fine.

I'm just simply pointing out what singers of her 'generation' have sounded like at times---because some of you *CENSORED* so much over, in my opinion, minor flaws. As Celine fans we should be proud. She hardly croaked out this performance. The woman can still sing. (unlike some, that really did loose it) And for that, we should be grateful. This is not 1996...

 

On a positive note, the album and single are climbing (slowly) back up the iTunes U.S. chart.

Honestly, I don't give a damn if she didn't sing 100% well or not, or if she hit this or that note, I just know she CAN sing it and she WILL, and that's enough to know for me I love my p'tit quebeçoise and she has all the right to have a bad day or be sick for whatever reason. As if none of you have ever went to work in sick conditions and not able to give 100%!

 

What I do care is the lame and pathetic management that Sony and Céline's team are doing in twitter, not updating it daily with the TV alerts several times a day, with the artwork of this album using the same photos that had been already used for the promotion of SA and especially, not releasing the VIDEOCLIP right now while she's appearing on so many TV shows. What are they waiting for????? From an artistic point of view, they're failing again with the finished product. 0 creativity. ZERO! As if there weren't enough photos in the Alix Malka photoshoot to use one different each day from here until the 5th november!

WE ALL GET SICK.

Even during her youth you will find WORSE performances because her voice - like any human being's - gets affected by illness, fatigue, stress, etc.

She has always bounced back with amazing performances. Why does everything have to be so black and white. Why does she always have to be either the greatest singer in the world or a washed up has been who has lost her voice?

Oh yes. If they let the first single die because they're so pathetic that they are unable to release first a lyric video and then a videoclip (which should have been released both of them already) to help and support the single's promotion in the social media, they'd better put out a new song by the 5th of november to draw the attention again...

Lol she has had a dog since 2010 and I guess she has gotten another one. They are labs named Charlie and Bear. She also mentioned them on the full length video of Extra.

I liked it. I think the fact she moved a bit more showed that she may have been a bit more comfortable- she didn't have the fluidity that she had in Une Seule Fois but I enjoyed it. She's the best

Why compare singers? Why bring one up and the other down? This is just as bad as those who constantly criticize Celine.

Not sure what you guys are complaining about. I am a musician and singer. I thought she did fine for a live performance, in fact I wondered if she was lipping because the pitch was so good during most of the song from the beginning. Man! Give her a break.
