It's much better than Jimmy, you can see that she's done some work, she sounds perfectly fine through most of the song, she has yet to figure out how to hit the highest notes. It's still surprising though that she were managed to do so in Quebec and in LV... but she is improving. She'll surely nail the next time

 

I think the reason why she hit those during CONCERTS was: A because her voice was warmed up through singing serveral songs, b she had a proper soundcheck + her own sound guy with her

 

I haven't watched the performance yet. I'll wait for the whole broadcast :-D

Ok I just listened again properly and I love the performance!

 

She has so much emotion into this performance like she is singing from Her soul! It was really good if you ask me!

 

She did a lot better this time!

Think it was a good performance , better than kimmel , I guess she is getting used to the song and performing it live.

I did think she looked like she was straining or something was hurting when she was going for the high notes!

I hope she isn't sick

Still I really enjoyed it and its only going to get better as she gets more comfortable with it!

Hahaha yea that cross was a little bit awkwardly done! But she has been doing those hand signs FOR YEARS. People say that on every Artist's performance now a days.

Ya iv seen her do it on ABM and TPOL a lot , but it just seemed odd there , but as you said she has been doing them for years!

I think it's clear that traveling to Los Angeles has effected Celine's voice. Celine always get's sick when she goes there and there was even a pic of Celine visiting a voice doctor the day before her interview with Ellen.

 

Celine and Ellen talked about the pic and the voice issues without going into detail of what her voice problems are at the moment.

I know Celine didn't want to say anything to Ellen cuz she doesn't like to complain and make excuses but, I'm guessing her vocal cords might be a little swollen from a bit of a infection due to traveling to L.A.

 

Celine is a real trooper. I know she must have felt like cancelling her appearance on the show, but she always goes through with her commitments.

 

I hope people watching didn't judge the performance to much. We all have heard Celine sing this song live at other events and know that she can do much better and that this is a very easy song for her to sing, but unfortunately she had to do much of the promotion for the album being sick.

 

Of course Celine still sounded amazing, even being sick and she looked great. I loved her outfit and that top was a really good color on her. Her hair looked so amazing. :wub: I just hope she is okay and get's well soon.

 

I loved the interview. I thought it was by far her best interview so far during this promotion for the album. Also by far the best interview Ellen has done with Celine. Ellen brought up the boy's hair, but it wasn't uncomfortable like last time. It was relaxed, easy going and funny.

 

I cannot wait to buy this album!! Nov 5th can't come fast enough!! :clap:

I think that performance was better than the Kimmel performance, but something is lacking and I can't put my finger on it.

 

 

I agree. Something was lacking and i think it's that they toned down a little bit the dubstep beat, it sound more flat without it. My two cents...

I think the stream is messed up becuase it is out of New York and today is the 11th :/

My channel 4 isn't THAT blurry today so I can make do I guess and then just watch HD online when someone posts it lol

I am so proud of her!!! She definitely improved from the JK performance :) :) I was so nervous watching but she blew it out of the park!!
