browseceline Posted December 18, 2013 at 11:09 PM Posted December 18, 2013 at 11:09 PM btw I looked on youtube where some of the videos are posted from Incredible live on the voice. Not much views yet... you would think this song has it all to boost albumsales again, but I don't know what to think now... mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:11 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:11 AM not really a climb after the performance on CBS. Now only a miracle can make this song a hit! :S Quote

Now only a miracle can make this song a hit! :S The cbs spiral competed against XFACTOR tonight in the US, which is in it's finale week. I'm sure they lost half the viewers right there. Quote

mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:23 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:23 AM Mikey it's not really that fast that it shows. Give it a couple hours. yeah you're right. this whole "on the verge of triumphing" thing makes me anxious we only have this week, because there doesn't seem to be any radio support of video whatsoever! LuisMa Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:26 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:26 AM I'm gonna send you some of my cherry coke to help you relax! I'm also hoping that the song is a hit... hopefully both star powers will not make it a quickly fading one. Quote
mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:03 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:03 AM yeah, there's the NE-YO factor here too! so people will see it on iTunes and get interested and maybe give it a try! BTW new peak at #23 Can't wait to listen again to the CBS performance. It was AHHH-MAZING!We must send it to Perez! Quote
LukeD Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:17 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:17 AM It is great the song is holding strong on I tunes, but I'm wondering how much it can last given the fact there is no music video, nor airplay. Quote
mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:19 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:19 AM I have no clue. But Ne-Yo must be proud too, since it's his only charting song in the US at the moment, and it's about to break into the TOP 20 on iTunes. I'm sure his team will also want this to happen. He's getting royalties! Quote
gafsa Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:48 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:48 AM I have tought about music video, they can put the intro of LMBTL playing in the background for the intro of music video, it's like they play the intro of ne bouge pas in the end Tout L'or Des Hommes VM before the actual music of Incredible play so the "a a ai" thing would become more familiar to promote LMBTL. 3 Quote
mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:50 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 05:50 AM They're only 9 spots away from Gaga and R Kelly on US iTunes. They've had even bigger exposure this week. The difference is that they are on heavy rotation on Z100 and KIIS Even if Céline holds within the iTunes top 30 I don't think she'll enter the BB TOP 40 since she has virtually zero airplay! Quote

That would do miracles for Celine's sales! I'm so glad we got the CBS performance. It makes the song sound a lot more real and not just a studio product! They sound great together, loving the harmonies! Do you think guys they'll send it to radios after xmas? That would mean they won't fight for a spot on the TOP 40 (HOT 100) but instead aim at becoming a big AC hit which would lead to album sales! Quote

Moleque20 Posted December 19, 2013 at 10:55 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 10:55 AM I find it really frustrating that there is no MV released and there is no physical single, no cover photo to use it for promotion... NOTHING! Only the impact in charts 1 Quote Les étoiles tombent une à une. Mes émois sont de saturne.
LuisMa Posted December 19, 2013 at 11:46 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 11:46 AM Yes, creative-wise, I give their team a measly F, and if I could, lower than that. I know the promo has been great and she's done her best, but c'mon, as she said in an interview, the label would want to sell millions, but at least do something to show the product(s) a bit more with displays, banners, new single covers... Quote
Chin Posted December 19, 2013 at 11:54 AM Posted December 19, 2013 at 11:54 AM I can't stop listening to the mess-up line at the end of the CBS performance. How could they mess up that beautifully? Both Celine and Ne-Yo did a great job! Ne-Yo is very professional! Quote

Their marketing team's apathy is astonishing indeed. I mean one thing is not to have a videoclip, we can also deal with not having a physical single release anymore, but not releasing a damn official photo cover for this single to promote it? That's the last straw with this gang 2 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
LuisMa Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:25 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:25 PM I am happy that she's performing and offering concerts worldwide, and everything. But the weird thing is that for example a single cover, that's not really too much to ask for, it's extremely easy, even fans would do it for free. I would! And it would help promote a bit and propel sales a bit further... Quote
mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:51 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 02:51 PM Yeah and I don't get why René doesn't do anything about it. Poor Ne-Yo. He would still want to score a hit even if Céline doesn't care! 3 Quote

Javito Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:03 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:03 PM Fans could do a cover artwork, and for free yes, but its SONY MUSIC's job to do that! :glare: Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:08 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:08 PM I can't believe they have have a song almost on the top on the iTunes chart and they sit there watching. It's just... 2 Quote
LuisMa Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:12 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:12 PM (edited) I know it is theirs, that's why I said "even". But, if they don't really want to send the song to different radio formats, all hope is lost for even a damn single cover. I know that they are more interested in selling albums and thankfully there are many markets where the album is doing great, but logistically speaking, there are some where they need to wake up a bit. An album does not sell on name strength and word of mouth alone. True, it will sell this week because we're headed towards Christmas and promo has been great, but then what... if they have more aces up their sleeves, amazing, but if not, we'll have to settle for the way it is. mike_z Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:20 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:20 PM They're just plain stupid. They expected LMBTL to become a hit, they sent it to radios, made a radio deal, cd single, etc. And now they have a big duet with a young star, the song doing great on iTunes, biggest exposure of the year, and they do nothing. If she doesn't score a hit with this one then all hope it gone. 3 Quote
Prima_Donna1 Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:38 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 03:38 PM Well that's their mistake when they said they weren't going to push it to radios. It is partly there fault. Also it is the fault of Celine's management team as well. They don't fight this either. 4 Quote Apprends-Moi tes Secrets...http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/yy180/miss_daly2881/post-1110-0-56076900-1358706235_thumb.jpg
LukeD Posted December 19, 2013 at 08:58 PM Posted December 19, 2013 at 08:58 PM All I understand from this mess is that people don't have a problem buying Celine's singles, as long as they are properly supported. I used to think people didn't care. 3 Quote
