Second single: "Incredible" - Duet with Ne-Yo

Today I was thinking, they say they sent the single "incredible" to the Committee of the Olympic Games, the most Olympics are going to happen in 2016, I do not know what they estam thinking about it, if we fall into that conversation, so I thought if not if they did not send the music committee for the World Cup is going to happen eem 2014 would be a very good choice, what do you think, does Celine will sing at the World Cup??

OMG! I can't believe the sh** we have been living as fans. We are talking about a huge star supported by a big music company and their strategy / plan is a mess ( is there a plan?).

 

To sum up, Sony UK sent Breakaway to UK radio stations while LMBTL was still holding on on Itunes UK ( the only big market where the song was a little success) but in other countries where the album is dying and where the song was a flop, they don't do anything?!

 

It seems that "Incredible" was sent to Canadian radio without any advise from Céline's team ( is it an official single?) and what are they waiting for in the US? It should have been released already last month! Céline is going to promote (?) the song this month and what?

They can't release it now ( but with Sony, anything can happen) as radio mostly play Xmas songs... they won't get any benefit from the TV special ( they are going to do the same as LMBTL after Les Plaines performance)

 

I wish this song was handled as a Ne-Yo song featuring Céline on his label, they would have made it something more consistant and sent to relevant radios. IF they finally move their a** , are they going to send it to urban/pop/rythmic (whatever but AC?) radios this time?

I have no idea whether they sent the song to Canadian radios or not. Thing is they should better wait for January to officially release the single once the Christmas buzz is over. Celine is having a 1-month break from her Vegas commitment, which is enough time to promote the song and even record a music video. Seems like perfect timing given the fact that the Olympics will take place in January. I also think it was a good move to release 'Breakaway' in UK now, since the song has huge potential and 'Loved Me Back To Life' showed no staying power. The performance on ''Strictly Come Dancing'' might make 'Breakaway' an even bigger hit and if that happens we're up for some huge sales and longevity in United Kingdom. I agree though that SONY US is not supporting the album properly. They obviously thought Celine would sell more copies based on her name alone and since she didn't achieve that, they're probably lost, not knowing what to do. I agree. Though most of us are impatient and some even mad that they haven't announced the American single, I feel it's wiser to wait. December singles almost always suffer and get lost in the Christmas shuffle, so waiting until the second week of January to have promo kick in is a better idea.

Though it may be true that they expected better, there's no need for panic. The album rose 1 position last week without any promo. there's a tv ad which just started playing (right?) and a tv special (maybe more tv appearances) on the way.

Had an idea for a music video for incredible it should be dedicated to Nelson Mandela showing clips of him and Celine and Neyo. I wouldn't say it would take that long to put together!
