The thing about the Olympics, though.

I was watching the making of and when Celine mentions it, it felt like something she would say but didn't really mean it was considered for the Olympics.

She was just saying it's a great song for a big event like the Olympics, and not that it was actually considered for the Olympics. Like when we say 'this would be a great wedding song' or 'this would be a great olympics song'.

It felt, for me, like she was just talking about what she thought would be a great place for this song.

Did anybody else get that impression?

Not the best song on the album, BUT certainly the best single to bring Celine's back to the radios.

I don't care for 'Incredible' as it just doesn't go anywhere. It's like you have it on repeat and the song never ends.

 

Also, not getting my hopes up for radio to pick up this song. I think its safe to say Celine won't get support from radio anymore no matter how great the song is.

Everyone on here keeps complaining that it sounds repetitive but have any of you actually listened to what the mainstream pop radios are playing? They play extremely repetitive songs and that's it. Think about it if you hear something over and over again it's gonna get stuck in your head and then you'll wanna listen to it moreso. That's what happened essentially with that stupid "Call Me Maybe" song same the Fun song "we are young" or whatever it's called. Repetitiveness sells on the radio.

NeYo has even said if it isn't picked up for the Olympics that someone isn't doing their job. I agree, I don't think they thought this right at the moment when they were recording, etc. but once it was finished and with the response, I think they realized they may have something greater with this song.

Even if I prefer other songs from the album, Incredible is the perfect choice for the holidays.... following the "I'm your angel" strategy, it's a song that could easily blend with xmas music and remain current.

 

But then, it's already november so we need a video ASAP!!

I'm not 100% sure we'll see a music video. If this is picked up for the Olympics, the video will most likely be their live performance. I'd love to see them intro them by showing the making of just before going live to them on stage. But definitely good promo and if they can possibly get this on radio, considering NeYo is on it, that'd be awesome and make it a hit for sure!

If they're really going the Olympic way, maybe they should use the #LoveAlwaysWins concept, you know the lyrics work amazingly...but then again, that would be Incredible

I don't know why but I suspect that the performance from Le Banquier will be the music video... But if Incredible is chosen for the Olympics I guess a real video will be made... So when will Incredible be sent to radio? Sony HAS to send this one to Top 40 radio...

Best choice for second single for 3 reasons:

 

- Radio friendly

- Perfect for Christmas time

- Ne-Yo will bring more fans to Celine and will get radios playing the song

 

Now they need to make "Breakaway" the third single and I will be totally happy.

I would say this is the most radio-playable of the entire album. I love the song. That being said -I'm not getting my hopes up but I will be over the moon is it gets some attention

I think it will! He's churned more than a dozen R&B top 10 hits. I think this could even become Celine's third American R&B hit.
