So my question is: Why they do promote the French albums?because the french still love her no matter what, i would think. and her french repertoire is generally better . She said in an interview somewhere that she could imagine the video for LMBTL so to me that says she didn't expect them to use the Quebec footage. I could see them using a setting like they did for the lyrics video. She also stated that she was excited for remixes from the album. I agree totally. Celine could go on for years recording French albums and doing well on the charts & sales in French speaking countries but not in the USA and some other English speaking countries. Sony is a company out to make money, it's a business. It's emotional for us because we LOVE her and her music but not for Sony. They want to keep the "legacy" artists on their label to boast about but they know they aren't going to sell tons of albums or downloads like a newer artist. That's the way the business works. I'm sure the Streisand fans were saying the same thing in the late 80s & 90s as we're saying about Celine now. I just want her to keep recording but doing different kinds of music, not just music to try and get sales or a "hit" single. Her voice is so amazing that she could record all different kinds of music and have an amazing body of work at the end of her career. 5 Quote ~J O E Y~
