Miha Posted May 4, 2014 at 03:55 PM Posted May 4, 2014 at 03:55 PM The whole story with the video and the album in general since the very first LMBTL performance is so awkward that I don't know what to think anymore. Me neither. It looks to me that s*** music is overexposed like crazy everywhere in these years....the good one is pushed back & ignored big time.Record labels are only interested in teenagers because they're the best "lambs to fool with" I even don't wanna know what music world would look like in 5 years..... 3 Quote

I do wonder that too! I often listen to the music I grew up with, the music of the 90s, they bring back good memories. When all those teenagers are older they will have good memories about Lady Gaga and Rihanna I guess, because that is the music they grew up with. And when they are that age, 30 something, I cannot even imagine what kind of music will be hot at that time ( And Celine will be in a wheelchair doing her Vegas show ;-) ) Quote <iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hl2XkxnYljg" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

She doesn't sell anything except music, but she's not relly conquare music world. Singer with exposed body take over anything. Edited May 4, 2014 at 04:25 PM by gafsa 1 Quote

But they will stay unknown or because they will not make mainstream hitstherefore their music won't sell proper according to their own record label, so they will simply get rid off them, and here we go again another jewel lost inthe garbage of music industry... 1 Quote

Kyle_Jared Posted May 4, 2014 at 06:21 PM Posted May 4, 2014 at 06:21 PM (edited) The mistreatment of this album is beyond words. They go on public American television --GMA at that, twitter etc announcing incredible video and now they've shelved it; those who think it isn't are delusional and I'll gladly eat my words if it's released. It's clear Loved me back to life is abandoned and the abismal energy they do have is in the live cd. After 6 years we get a couple tv appearances no new English concerts and not one single video. I was her biggest fan---still am but this is so beyond disappointing Also I think she should if done one or two promo appearances this spring. Today show summer concert series or dancing with the stars---they gave up so quickly. I'm sure Rene was upset with how hard she flopped in America. Thank god for Canada and the UK Edited May 4, 2014 at 06:25 PM by Kyle_Jared 4 Quote
Shaun Posted May 4, 2014 at 06:24 PM Posted May 4, 2014 at 06:24 PM (edited) The whole situation is downright weird! Rene's health situation cannot be holding up the release of this as Celine shot the video after he'd had the diagnosis and was recovering so clearly something else is up. Now whilst it is true that the song doesn't appear to have impacted radio or that charts in the USA in any major way what about the rest of the world? Let's at least give the single a chance please Sony! There's something very strange up here. Are Ne-Yo's label blocking the release? Are Sony unhappy with the finished video? Have they looked at the lack of impact in the US and decided they will just abandon the single everywhere? Or is this just the typical half hearted efforts Celine's team appear to put into everything these days and we'll eventually get the video with the special edition re-release of "Loved Me Back To Life" in November 2017!!! browseceline Posted May 4, 2014 at 09:37 PM Posted May 4, 2014 at 09:37 PM (edited) Not one single video 6 month after the album was release... Unbelievable! PS: LMBTL is not a real music video for me. To me neither! That video is just as worthless as the new trailer for the bluray/dvd! I mean it is the easiest way, using concertfootage to use for the videoclip. No creative mind that comes up with a clever appropiate video that matches with the song, no instead they think, oh hey we have some concertfootage of her doing that song, let us not do too much and use that one and call it official musicvideo. Same treatment for the trailer of Une Seule Fois. If i worked for the creative agency that got the job to make a trailer, i would do my very best to make this a masterpiece, something i would be proud of, because it was created for the big megastar Celine Dion! Good would not be good enough. Everything helps in promotion. Same for the trailer that needs to attract people! And i say it again. It is quite ignorant to not put subtitles on the dvd. Maybe they will proof us wrong. But to be honest, i do not see it happen..They know Celine has fans over the whole world and they are not all French speakng but will buy the dvd anyway. NicoNV Posted May 11, 2014 at 01:21 AM Posted May 11, 2014 at 01:21 AM (edited) its weird we don't have any updates about rene's health I can't remember the thread, it may have been the Random thoughts thread or the thread about his surgery in December, but there was an update more or less. They had taken a family vacation to Augusta, GA and were playing golf (which you cannot do if you are sick or weak). Some people had taken photos (which may be in the rare photos thread). Also, Mrs. Dion gave an interview and stated that Rene was doing well, and his recovery from surgery was going well. There had been some confusion because it was either one of Celine Dion's brothers or brother-in-laws (I do not know which) just had surgery for the same type of cancer as Rene's and apparently lost part of his tongue and had to learn to speak again. This led to rumors that it was Rene who had lost part of his tongue. That wasn't true, just rumors. Mrs. Dion had stated it was one of Celine's brothers or brother-in-laws (as I said, I do not know which), and she stated that Rene was doing well. I believe the information about her interview is in the thread about Rene's surgery in December (and it was from that interview and the information in that thread where I got the information about one of Celine's brothers or brother-in-laws having the same type of cancer that Rene had). I wouldn't expect an actual interview or statement right now. I think they are just enjoying their time off (I think sometimes people forget how much work they have done lately: a French album, French album promotion, the Qubec concert, Bercy shows, English album, English album promotion, and all while balancing Vegas and Rene's surgery and surgery recovery. They certainly deserve a break). Mrs. Dion gave an interview that updated people, and I would not expect Celine or Rene to give an interview right away. What else can they say really? He had cancer, they caught it, he had surgery, he is recovering. Anyway, the take-away, is that he is doing well, the surgery was a success, and he is recovering well. edit: also in the random thoughts thread, is that she was just in a recording studio working on something. But, we do not know what she was working on (her own album, guesting on another album. We don't know). Edited May 11, 2014 at 01:26 AM by NicoNV 1 Quote

Celinenvegas Posted May 16, 2014 at 08:35 PM Posted May 16, 2014 at 08:35 PM I just heard the song on WLTW Lite FM in NYC the other night, however it was during the Dalliela (not sure of spelling) show.
