It's also entirely possible that Neyo himself forced the video to be delayed because he wanted it to come out closer to the release of his new album, which is due this summer. If so, then this could mean that Neyo is going to take more of an active role in promoting this and trying to get HIS fans to watch / share the video, etc.

 

True it's a 2-way street. He did promo appearances with her and in return the video was delayed. Maybe that was the reason. We will never know!!!

Oh gosh, this song never ever will become a success. I don't say that because I am negative but because it doesn't catch the summer party feeling a "soccer song" needs to catch. Have a look at Shakira's or Ricky Martin's World Cup songs to "hear" what I am talking about.

They performed the song in december, they filmed the video in February and they show some images in June. I guess we'll have the full video in December?

 

The song is dead since weeks ( and they even released another single in some countries. I mean in Italy ...). They should have kept for a compilation released in 10 years. That would have not been the first music video not released in history.

 

I know you guys are excited to get new stuff but that is pure non sense. And of course Sony/Céline's team won't give any explanations for this delay?

 

We're talking about a music video for a flop song by Céline ..not the post-production of a Hollywood blockbuster.

So what? I am a fan of Celine Dion and I want to see (and maybe enjoy) her new music video. Why do we have to worry/complain about the marketing part of her career? Shouldn't affect us that much. I don't understand why everything has to be defined by commercial success. Who cares if that's the video of a flop song? In order for a song to be a flop, it needs to be promoted and noticed and have people not take interest in it. In this case it was a very subtle release, and it peaked at I believe 24 on the AC chart. So, all in all, to not be treated as a proper release, it's really not a flop. It was just an abysmal release.

Just seen this fantastic news!

 

It cant do ANY harm at all to release the video, better late than never. If it's released and music TV don't play it then fair enough but to never have at least tried would've been awful.

 

If it turns out to be a "thank you" to the fans video then that's fine with me. Hopefully of course it helps the album to rebound on the charts around the world.

The song was already part of "Celine" before she took her recent break. I find the whole "Incredible" era to be very UNincredible. They really should have just dropped the single and moved on to "Somebody Loves Somebody." That song screams SUMMER far more than "Incredible." Plus, it would have worked great in the Vegas show. As much as I like Barnev, he just doesn't do Ne-Yo's segment justice. Oh well. I guess it's nice to get at least one new music video. C'est la vie.
