I ordered it from the boutique...shipping of Blu to US $42.30 total (w/TC discount and tax might be different in your state). amazon.ca only had the dvd not blu it's about the same price anyway .

Yeah I did the same. The DVD even with shipping is better priced than Amazon.ca.

The team celine discount makes it $25. Then you add tax and shipping.

Team Celine is $32 for the Blu-Ray. $25 ($22 maybe?) for the DVD. Plus shipping. Amazon.ca was $38 before shipping just for the DVD. Just depending on the shipping method you pick it's less expensive to go that way.

 

Even if it does show up on Amazon USA it may still be an import and I don't really want to deal with region encoding. I also finally ordered ACDS dvd. I can't wait!! :)

Well I don't mean necissarily from there I'll just see what I can find. Someone mentioned some other place. So yeah. And I wish they'd have some coupon code to save $5 or something if you preordered it. That'd be nice.

I wonder if they ship certain things from certain warehouses. That might make sense. And I hope they do a backstage pass for a portion of the show or something or show the costume changes. It's crazy to see how fast she gets.

Yes, that's what the Boutique listed it to be. The DVD is also region free (Region-0).

Its Sony selling directly them to fans.. online! They could be more competitive..

If you check with your local music store and order it from them it should be available to day or release. That's what I do here. I order it from HMV and pick it up on release day.

Archambault has all her released, so no concern that they might not have it.

Is the discount only on the regular dvd? I want the blu ray but I don't see where it is giving a discount when I go to check out?

You have to join teamceljne. As far as how to apply. I think it's automatically applied.

I ordered from the Boutique. With the TC discount I ordered the DVD + CD set and got one of the t-shirts. My total was just under 40.00 dollars (standard shipping).

 

I wish there were some kind of behind the scenes on the DVD, but I didn't see any listed. So, unless it is some hidden feature, there is no behind the scenes material. Regardless, I am still happy this was released on DVD and CD, and with songs from the Paris shows!! I hope it arrives the week it is released. I ordered the LMBTL LP from the Boutique and received it within two or three days of the release date (same shipping).

 

 

 

There was a question about the TC Discount:

-Log into your TC account, from the sites mainpage

-Click Boutique in the upper right corner

-The discounts should be applied automatically. You should see that you are getting the TC prices.

 

If TC prices are not working, close out of the browser, and log back in. If that doesn't work, clear your browser cookies, and try again.

 

(These instructions are on the website, you log in and look at you account information. For me, once I logged in and accessed the Boutique from the mainpage, it all worked and the discount was automatically applied).

I pre-ordered the Blu-ray + 2 CD from Amazon.fr for 25.16 Euro which is about $34.17 USD. Shipping is more than half of the cost of the item. :wacko:

Actually, I canceled my Amazon France order as the video is in the PAL format. I need to get the NTSC version instead.

TVA version is not the complete either, though it had Je danse dans ma tête / Des mots qui sonnent / Incognito medley. They did not broadcast the following songs.

what is the difference between these video versions?

 

 

NTSC delivers a frame rate of 30 fps at an aspect ratio of 720x480, and is used in North America, Japan and South Korea. PAL is a different video standard that is incompatible with NTSC; it uses a fame rate of 25 fps and 720x576 aspect ratio, and is used in most of Europe, Australia and large parts of Africa and Asia. Thedifferences between NTSC and PAL are the reason why some DVDs or VHS tapes from Europe may not play in the United States and vice versa. Most European DVD players can read NTSC and most PAL TVs can display NTSC video. But NTSC DVD players usually cannot read PAL.

There is a third standard, called SECAM (Sequential Couleur Avec Memoire or Sequential Color with Memory), that is used in Eastern Europe and France.

^ If I remember correctly, TTEOTW/TCWT were released worldwide as NTSC (I think the only PAL editions were Malaysia and/or Thailand) :hmm:

I think there may still be some extras. If you look at the description on Amazon France it has some additional things listed TC doesn't for some reason. Not 100 % sure what everything is, though. We'll all get to find out next month!
