Actually, I canceled my Amazon France order as the video is in the PAL format. I need to get the NTSC version instead.

You ordered blu-ray edition, didn't you. But PAL and NTSC are only applied to Standard Definition video.

I am so excited for this release yay!!

 

I'm so confused! Is there a real difference in quality with the version on amazon France and the version from the boutique? I'm in England so I ordered from amazon France. Please can you help thanks so much :) I ordered the standard dvd version as I don't have bluray

There is no difference in quality. All DVDs are Region-free, it's just the PAL/NTSC difference between Europe and North America. But as mentioned above, most players are capable of handling both formats (especially here in Europe).

I'm furious about my Sur les plaines dvd because my blueray player can't open it:(

Is there a way to unlock the player to have it to play stuff from all regions?

The ONCP european dvd looks far superior in quality compared to the north american version.

On Amazon France it lists these after the outro:

29. DVD menu: loved me back to life 30. DVD menu: parler a mon pere 31. DVD menu: la mer et l'enfant 32. DVD menu: s'il suffisait d'aimer 33. DVD menu: le miracle

 

I don't really know what these are or why they're on there. Maybe it's her rehearsing these or live from Bercy? For some reason I thought LMBTL was omitted from the Paris shows, although I could be wrong. This does give me some hope there will be some sort of extra's on the DVD/Blu-Ray even Celine's site doesn't mention it directly. I guess we'll find out soon enough. I'm already pretty excited will all the material coming out with the release so anything extra is just an awesome bonus!! :clap:

Good to know! I don't why I thought she didn't perform that there. I've had a hectic few months. I'm surprised my brain even works at all at this point. :giggle: Ok, so this possibly means those bonus tracks are live from Bercy. Although I would love it even more if it was the studio recordings since we'll already have those live from USF.

It does say DVD menu for there, so it might just be music for the menu changes. I hope that on the side of the menu that they could show footage from the Paris shows like you said.

I was honestly thinking it was the rehersal footage from USF. From the clips we had there, we had SSDA. We also have audio of the LMBTL rehersal. ;)

I'm thinking these DVD menus the background music that's included on the different menu options that will be available. Maybe they'll have options such before show, full show, song selection, after show etc.

You may want to try playing it on a computer. I got an Au Couer de Stade DVD that wouldn't play on my DVD player, because it was the wrong region, but it worked on my laptop.

I do wish "Somebody Loves Somebody" would have been included as part of the show. It would be nice to have a live performance of that song on an official video/CD release.

I'm sure they'll realise soon and correct it - I'd pre-order it sooner rather than later, as on Amazon you will always get the lowest price between the time you pre-order and the release date. :)

It is amazing to still proof her self in the business .. i can imagine how many pressures she face right now but I still find that it is a big mistake not to publish any professional videoclips for such an awsome album like LmBTL .. she could concer the market with a video film project like the one beyonce did with her album
