Shame, I think she was freezing cold that night. A person could see it a few times that she was cold.

I thought it was weird that she showed up in a leather jacket with a scarf while everyone else was in short sleeves. But them it hit me, in vegas she's used to hot weather. Quebec is nowhere near hot vegas at times.

Also the wind coming off the water in the evening would have made it cold on the stage since it was elevated.

Just bought the BluRay/CD from Amazon France. Pleasantly surprised to get it (including shipping) for £20.00.

I'll get the Blu-Ray for 18,99 Euro on amazon.de, which is really really cheap.

 

Can't wait, only two more days. I'll lock myself into a room and then it begins ;-)

My price was £35 to Scotland from amazon.fr that was lucky. I got mine from Groovesinc.com for £16

Are there a bunch of diferent versions of this?

I didn't realize there was a topic for this and it would take me days to read through everything, so if someone could please put up the different versions/what's different about each one, that'd be really helpful.

I want the package with the most songs/features, so thanks in advance for anyone's help.

I'm sure the back cover photo will be the same for the Blu-ray. I love the picture!

 

According to the Boutique photo, the Blu-ray edition will be in a plastic Blu-ray case. Although all the Amazon listings show the same digipak cover as the DVD version, so I guess we'll have to wait and see whether there are any differences...

There's a blu-ray and a DVD. Each version comes with 2 CD's of the entire concert with 4 bonus songs on the second CD from Bercy....Ziggy, WAAF, Regarde-moi, & TLDH.

I'm very surprised they didn't correct that mistake by using a different camera shot (not looking at Celine) and replacing those vocals with the same part sung correctly from Bercy. It's not as if they didn't have any other audio to use in case of issues like that! :doh:

 

On the SLP DVD they somehow corrected Garou's mistake during Sous le vent... :hmm:

 

Exactly! I'm all in for natural performances but releasing a video for a single with mistakes is wrong. It's the most boring concert video I have ever seen.

I have a feeling I will get a bit annoyed with USF, cos she'll be looking at the monitors a lot for the songtext, while in Paris she didn't need them at all :down:

Wait a second, they must have done something, Julie and her team was in Paris, they were recording both the concert and the hotel, so what would that be for?

 

It'd be disappointing to get only the concert that one could already see because of so many broadcasts with only 4 bonus songs. It seems to be totally "I-don't-care" mode.

Maybe they were there for Accès Illimité....

 

I think Une Seule Fois was ruined since it was broadcasted on TV!!, I have already the concert in HD! So for me the only good things are the 4 bonus tracks and the 5.1 channel audio.

Was it broadcast in its integrity? Cause when they re aired the show on TVA couples weeks ago alot of songs were missing. Maybe the first time it was when you had to pay like 20$ to see it....

I think Sony has actually done a better job with this release than they did with LMBTL. Fans wanted bonus tracks from Bercy (specifically "Regarde-moi") and we got them. Unfortunately no "Immensite" but still I think we're getting a darn good release and it's nice to see that they listened to fans. This is the first live release in Celine's entire career that we will be getting a full live album with no songs cut and a full DVD of a tour with no songs cut. "A l'Olympia" was missing "Oxygene." Even the DVD's that were released for TCWT and ACDS were missing songs ("I'm Your Angel" on TCWT and "Tell Him" on ACDS). Same goes for the VHS of Live in Memphis missing "RDMH" and "FIY"). TCOML Concert video was 95% lipped and basically a waste of a release.

 

So all that being said, I think we're really lucky especially since the initial reports last year were that USF would NOT be released at all.

I really don't know, a friend of mine got the files and shared them with me and yes, a couple of songs are missing, but the point is that a lot of people has already seen it and downloaded it, and in this dvd, the concert as a performance won't have anything new.

 

Of course I'll buy it in its original format as soon I can

Exactly, this is pretty good release.

Yeah and Live À Paris cd is missing Misled, which is one of my favorite in its DVD and in TCOML album. And 4 more songs were also missing...

 

Now we are getting everything! PLUS extra!! So thats really good.

I just can't wait for this! I've gone to order this on amazon France about 4 times and each time I've got distracted and not ordered it!

Me to, I really hope the back cover pic is the same. Think it should be. Fantastic photo. I really really really don't want to come across as being ungrateful, but the way you guys are talking about the Bercy show, I wish we could get a DVD of that as well. It sounds as if it was a brilliant show. It isn't uploaded anywhere is it. I'm really looking forward to this one though, I'm not complaining, just wondering, that's all.

The Bercy shows were in my opinion her best since the 90s. The only problem is that they weren't properly recorded for a DVD. They do have footage, but it's just from the cameras in the arena used for the big screens next to the stage, so we wouldn't have the impressive moving camera shots we see in the Quebec footage. I can totally understand why they chose to release USF as the main video release, but I wish they could have given us a whole bonus CD from Bercy...

Ah, so Sony hasn't released five million different deluxe versions or a version for each country? Surprising, that. Although, give it a few months...

So does the dvd actually come packaged with the cds like the TCWT set, or do we have to order the dvd and cds separately?

I hope we do get more bonus material. Not that the tracks from Paris aren't great, but.

Also yes, I'd love a set from Paris, maybe they could release the show from December fifth, then everyone's collection would be complete lol. I mean, we have bootlegs from every other show, so...
