I just wanted to share with you a screencap of the menu of the promotionnal DVD for the medias. It might be different from the commercial release (there is no bonus material in this promotionnal DVD, I think there will be some in the BD/CD or DVD/CD combos, right ?)

I really hope that there will be behind the scenes footage from the soundchecks and rehearsals. Do you know if there are any subtitles?

I've been finding that imports have been priced EXTREMELY HIGH on Amazon USA lately. They would always be a bit higher (typically a new release CD would be $21.99 for an import as opposed to $11.99 for the standard US release) but now they're $30+ for a CD! Anastacia's new album is listed at $35.47. Crazy! Not sure if import/customs taxes have increased causing the price changes...

I know! It's absolutely insane. $60 for dvd/cd and $80 for the blu-ray/cd option is way too much, imo. I just ordered from the boutique b/c I was worried about region encoding. Even with $11 in shipping, it's still so much less than a lot of the options out there.

 

Does anyone know if there will be any sort of US option for mp3? I found it on iTunes Canada but I want to also sync it with my phone, which is android. I read earlier in the year on one of those tech sites that Apple is supposed to be coming up with an android compatible iTunes app but in the meantime, is there anything else that will sync the two? Any advice on some good apps for that (there's a few out there)? Especially considering Amazon options are out of the question right now.....can't buy any European editions w/o European credit card and we've all seen the US Amazon options lol.

 

Or should I just wait to see if anyone on here can convert it dl or if magically appears anywhere else. ;)

:clap: :clap: :clap: I was really hoping for this!! I've been really impressed with everything about this release so far. I do wish Immensite could be included on the cd's but really, with all the material we're getting and now the sub-titles added too I can't wait. The only other thing I secretly want is some behind the scenes footage but I guess we'll see what's there when it comes out.

Let's not get too excited about the subtitles just yet as we've seen on French releases before that they actually include French subtitles whenever she speaks in English.

 

I'm really hoping it does mean English subtitles but let's not get too excited just yet.

I have to say they did a great job in the menus. Looks very professional and appealing, in my opinion.

you laugh but when i listen to english tv, i put subtitles , it helps me :)

I don't think there'll be any difference between this promotional dvd and regular version, meaning there will be no bonus features (behind the scenes etc.) I really hope I'm wrong because didn't they follow her with cameras everywhere? It doesn't make sense not to include already filmed material but then again, they didn't release Incredible music video so... :wacko:

I guess we should be thankful we're getting this concert and bonus cd songs but can't help wondering how awesome would be to finally have Tout l'or des hommes and Immensite on official concert blu-ray :wub: .

Either way I know I'll be pleased with this release with all we're getting so far. But you're right, the cameras did follow her. There's a lot on YouTube showing rehearsals, etc. that do look quite professional. I'd be a bit surprised to not see it. I guess we'll see.

Yes, they are. If there's no extra chapters for it (I realize that concert was quite lengthy w/all the other artists.....maybe even longer than this one if I'm remembering correctly) I'm really hoping they have a similar set up. It looked like on one of the European Amazon sites there were some extras on the track listing so I guess we'll see. Not too much longer until we find out now.

I think the person that originally posted the main menu shot and then the sub-titles menu said this was from a promotional release.....to media outlets, etc. If this really is the case more than likely this is legit. :wub:
