"One Heart" album - Official Topic

I Can´t Say it is a Classic Celine album like FIY,LTAL,ANDHC.

But it has some groovy songs though like Reveal, Forget Me Not, I Drove All Night, One Heart.

My favorit is I Know What love Is and Forget me Not the rest is just left overs from ANDHC.

I love this album its very under rated. My favourite song on OH is I Know What Love Is. Its such a beautiful song, I would love to see her perform it live.

I think it's her weakest album ever. It's like 'ANDHC outtakes'.

I really love IDAN and In His Touch, though. If it wasn't for these 2 songs, I'd never listen to the album.

It was an unnecessary album that I think Sony obliged her to record just to show the world she wasn't leaving the music industry for the A New Day show

OH is definitely my least favourite Céline album. I sometimes listen to IKWLI and SBYS for example but I really don't like the album as a whole.

I like it! Not my favorite one, but I listen to it with more frequency than I listen to "Let's talk about love". There are good songs there, like "Forget me not", "Faith", "Stand by your side" and "I know what love is".

I find lots of the songs very uplifting and refeshing. It's nice to have an album that isn't full of ballads.

I only listened to this album once because I really couldn't stand it at the time. Maybe I should give it another listen sometime.

I remember Billboard saying at the time that "One Heart" should've been the album Celine returned with in 2002 because the sound of it was more up to date and modern. Whilst for some of the tracks I agree (I Drove All Night, Reveal, In His Touch to name a few), other songs from the album dont even deserve a place a single B side. The album is a mess in that it doesnt flow properly and was released solely to be a vehicle (pardon the pun) for the tie with Chrysler and to launch the Vegas show. Still, as always with Sony, they didnt get the best out of what could've been a great selling album. Imagine if "Reveal" was a single instead of "Have You Ever Been In Love" or if they'd gone with NEW songs instead of rehashes from old albums "One Heart" could've done quite well for Celine and Sony but as usual the wrong choice were made so as is becoming the norm with Celine now the album was dead after about 6-9 months.

OH is the only English album that can be called "Taking Chances"

I 100% agree with Reveal. I think it's a great song, very radio friendly with the right amount of sexual edge that it's not trashy, but still very sexy. It would've done great with a sexy music video. I can picture the deleted scenes from the Goodbye's (The Saddest Word) video fitting in nicely into a Reveal video. Or maybe it's just my hormones.

I have loved "Coulda woulda shoulda" since the first time I heard it. I think it's full of life and as someone alrady said, a good song for summer...I can't wait to buy this album on Christmas

Some very good songs were coming from as "Faith", "In his touch", "Stand by your side", "Naked", "Reveal", "I know what love is", "Je t'aime encore", "One heart", so I do like this opus but not my favourite.

I don't understand why so many people don't like this album. I think it's a great one. It has many up-tempo songs. It's a perfect album if you go by car in the summer with the windows open There are so many beautiful songs on it. I think those are the best:

Stand by your side

Forget me not

Coulda woulda shoulda

Love is all we need

One heart

Faith

Reveal

 

but the most amazing songs on it are "In his touch" and "Naked"

faith is nice!!!!naked,forget me not and reveal are nice also....almost all songs of celine in one heart are good....for you faith is bad...but for me that was good i just hate the song stand by yourside and love is all we need......

When I first bought the One Heart in 2003 I thought it was terribly bad. Some years later I started to hear the album again. I had become dependent. I downloaded all the songs on my MP3 player. Only after a week I could all the songs. HAHA!

This is one of my favorite albums of her English ones. Naked and Reveal are two of my favorites and I love the way In His Touch sounds. All of them are amazing. I didn't like Sorry for Love at first but after a couple of times of listening to it, I warmed up to it. Coulda Woulda Shoulda is a very upbeat one that makes me happy and I love Stand By Your Side and I Know What Love Is. Je T'aime Encore has a special meaning to me so I love that one also. I see many people have different views but here's mine.

In the beginning I really didn't like this album but it has definitely grown on me.

I like many of the songs, but it's still not my favourite album, though!
