This is actually something I'm really looking forward to. It's sort of a redemption for her to perform something substantial and worth her credentials in this "Jazz Festival". If she goes the usual Vegas medley route and then same safe songs, it would just be a waste of time and be a dishonour to the festival IMO.

Manolo, you are one lucky SOB! If I may offer some advice.

 

I found that recording the Celine show in Vegas on my iPhone's voice memo app was very easy and the sound came out great so if you have a similar idea in mind it should be fine. Just try to place your recording equipment somewhere where it isn't moving around a lot, hopefully there are cupholders in the armrests, that's where I placed mine and it worked a treat. Didn't have to worry about disturbing it when I got up to clap or dance. If you do use a smartphone turn the brightness way down and turn the screen away from view. But remember where the mic is.

 

Try recording the whole show in audio more than recording bits of video here and there. I think that is always better. But if you have the more than one device and can do both even better.

 

Don't worry about uploading advice, there are plenty of us here to help with that.

 

Oh, and have a great time, I am so frigging jealous of you right now!!!!

 

Oh. And don't forget to buy extra copies of any exclusive memorabilia, flyers etc. there will be plenty of interested parties willing to pay you top dollar!

I miss the original IA arrangement, and it's been way too long since TTWII was performed - 8 years I think! I hope one of these makes it into the show.
