Changes to the show?

Again, I feel this "proposed setlist" on Wikipedia is not reliable. The page is being edited by someone who isn't even a user, just a random IP. There's no other source that matches this setlist, so I'm just going to ignore it for now. Let's wait until the 29th to see what she'll sing.

It says that the last revision was made by an account named "lesredheads" so now I'm finding this more reliable.

Ooh I hope this is true. They probably dropped WDMHBN because it was lipped until the very end anyway and she probably just didn't feel the song. When I seen her she seemed bored with it. But I love the redheads and this list!!

I have Orch 4 front row seats the first (of 3) shows I am at in 3 weeks....eeessshhhk!!. We are seat 5 & 6 Orch 4 which I think is on the Orch 5 end. Does she move up and down the front row a bit? I am really hoping I can hold her hand!

If you are on the front row then you will be fine.

I don't see the list on Wiki being done, even if it is from the RH's! I don't think she would drop OA, they love the dramatics of the curtain drop.

WFTM and TPOTD why those songs.... I really don't think they would axe Mr. Paganini and they won't drop Overjoyed (as much as I wish they would). Besides I don't think she's looking to prolong the show, she's always wanting to get back home. This of course is just my thoughts

Adding SSDA was a big change for them now, more will happen in time.

Well many different sources states that they were making more changes to the show and that TPOTD was being rehearsed. Overjoyed could go either way, its one if the snooze moments of the show. MP could be axed due to it being a cover which is almost all replaced. The OA thing, I can see them replacing that as well, its a little played out and Celine has no enthusiasm with it anymore, she really doesn't play with it like she used to. One of violinist even said they have many changes coming this upcoming leg of shows.

How would I get it to him? And I'm terrible at making letters that sound you know professional. Don't tell me I'd have to use Feeling Products address cause that failed with my Celine letter last time. I got nothing back at all not even a team celine letter.

In the past, when "A New Day..." was running, I would write to various people involved with the show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. I did get confirmation a couple times that my letters did get received. You could always try writing a letter to him there.

You could also use the same address when writing to Aldo, too.

I'm going August 2nd. I'll try to record a bootleg. I'll just use my iPhone this time around, so it won't be the same device used for my opening shows bootlegs awhile back.

Why is she using a wired mic on stage now? That's so like last decade. Well, 90's. I don't understand why she would switch from a nicer wireless mic to a crappy wired one. Also using a wired mic doesn't let her move around the stage as much.

I think she was having problems with her Sennheiser (black wireless) because on the first antwerp concert last year she kept cutting backstage telling them to adjust it in her in ears.

"Now" ? This has been since the mini tour in late 2013 !

And when she got back to Vegas a few weeks later she kept it.

This has been discussed several times here, it must remind so many '90s memories to us all !

I was (pleasantly) surprised the song was brought back when "Celine" debuted. I remember how vocal Celine was years ago about her no longer "feeling" the song. It's a personal favorite of mine, though. So, I hope it stays around.

Perhaps even suggest Celine should listen to her english albums - rediscover the songs she fell in love with. That's what i would do. May even write myself!!

We should write one together! You can mention that bit and I can mention the dvd bit. I am terrible in writing letter by myself.

I just noticed the wikipedia page has been update again with a new song in the proposed setlist....Somebody loves Somebody is now included instead of Breakaway. I love both songs but I do think she needs to add one or two more upbeat songs into the setlist as there have not been many in this show. IDAN was in the opening video of course but they need another song like that in the list so I think if its true then SLS is a great addition! As for the opening number being TPOTD...I just dont know. Its a very good song, but it is usually performed with a choir and its from the 1996 Olympics..currently it is one of her lesser known songs in general so it doesnt make sense that she would open the show with it..but we will see! I also wanted to comment on the addition of I Surrender...great, great song but to put it right before another huge vocal song, All By Myself..I just dont see that happening. Maybe they will still include it, but to put two huge vocal songs side by side I doubt that would happen but again we will see in a few days if this setlist is real Edited July 25, 2014 at 04:40 AM by celinemaniac07

I invision a pre-recorded video playing during the intro of Céline walking the Vegas strip (legs down) interspersed with footage from the recent France/Belgium shows, then into the Coliseum, back stage and then she walks on stage... Would be a crazy high energy very VEGAS opening to the show. They could jump right into the TCWT version of "I'm Alive" or IDAN right after and get the crowd really going before launching into the ballad medley. I think it would set a really cool tone for the show and would be very exciting. Still classy but a bit more high energy.
