Well, I do not think they would need to get permission to record for a DVD (because, of the warning and waiver on the ticket). But, it seems likely the audience would be told if it were for a DVD. Like I said before, I do not think they would have told be told, because of the ticket. But, I doubt they just surprise people. Of course, people could just not worry about this by being faithful

I have a question prob shouldn't be placed here but since I brought it up with AND when they filmed the show was the audience told? Cause I wonder if the audience was told they would be filmed for the shows they have apparently so far filmed. I'm curious for the new years eve show do we have any confirmation they filmed the whole night or just during LMBTL ?

I just listened to Celine's version again of "Can't Help Falling in Love With You". It would be a good song for Celine's show opener! Maybe they could show her speech in 2007 in AND before the curtain opens, and then the curtain could drop on "Like a river flows..."

Like I said, and it seems to be correct based on binsk's post, I doubt they surprise people with being recorded for an entire DVD. But, given the waivers already in place, they do have options. So, maybe that are just recording for certain things, and will decide later how they want to use the footage.

 

I wish they would record certain songs for bonus features (for example, the MJ Tribute, LMBTL, etc. Basically, an extra for the songs she has cut). Probably, when they film the entire show for the DVD, they will post signs and tell the audience. Anyway, at this point, it's all speculation, but I do hope they release a DVD. I would love to have the versions of the show that I have seen thus far, but I would also like the MJ Tribute to be on the DVD since I missed that. I guess I just want everything, haha.

 

I hope she keeps SSDA, and also adds something from Sans Attendre. I wish she would add Didn't Know Love as well.

Somewhere in this thread it was mentioned she may add The Power of the Dream. I hope that is true!

Well they only need the signs for when they're doing audience shots. If they're not taking video of the audience, then it doesn't really make a difference.

That would likely depend on company policy. People are warned on the ticket that it may occur. If a person shows up, and they announce it will in fact occur, that person had already been warned it was a possibility. Meaning, I doubt a person is entitled to a refund. But, they may have an internal policy dealing with this issue. However, I would imagine they do not have a blanket refund policy, for various legal reasons and issues that it may present. I believe through AXS all sales are final after 24 hours, with no refunds available (but, even that, I think on a case by case basis, might vary a bit depending on the circumstances).

 

So, my best guess, and it is obviously only a guess based on general knowledge and not based on any knowledge regarding Celine Dion's companies, AEG, AXS, or Caesars Palace particular policies, my best, general, guess is this would be unofficially handled on a case by case basis.

 

 

I hope this becomes an issue sooner rather than later. Not because I want them to have a legal issue, but because I want a DVD

 

 

If anyone is going the first week of August, let us know if she is still singing SSDA, please!

Actually from the recent French interviews, Rene still is in charge. Aldo is just his "right hand man".

Rene is still in charge and will defiantly be part of the decision making in Celine's career going forward. I just think the day to day stress and strain will be taken on by aldo to relieve some pressure off Rene. But Celine pretty much said in an interview Rene is still manager.

You could always pass on your requests to both Aldo and Rene. However, when suggesting something, make sure to write it in such a way that it is not a blatant "suggestion". A lot of high profile companies will not accept unsolicited ideas due to potential lawsuits. (I learned this from both Disney and EEI (Gloria Estefan's company) years ago.) I can't tell you what to write, but try and compose your letter in such a way that you simply state your opinion or wish, while at the same time refraining from saying things like: "I recommend...," "I am suggesting...," "Here is my idea...," etc.

I have Orch 4 front row seats the first (of 3) shows I am at in 3 weeks....eeessshhhk!!. We are seat 5 & 6 Orch 4 which I think is on the Orch 5 end. Does she move up and down the front row a bit? I am really hoping I can hold her hand!
