Javito Posted May 14, 2012 at 11:21 AM Posted May 14, 2012 at 11:21 AM We don't even know if she's not interested anymore. It's not like she said "I'm not interested in music anymore, so therfore I will only talk about my family in interviews!" So stop saying she isn't. For all we know she could be really excited, but it might not be something she goes around thinking about all the time. She's got a lot on her hands right now, so don't blame her. Most mothers go on maternity leave for a year, she came back after 4 months. Give her a break. Well she's said many times music is not her priority anymore and we've got that clear enough, but that does not mean she has flood us with the babies/family/mother speech and leave every aspect of her music projects aside in every interview since 2002, right? She's got a lot on her hands right now? Really? Oh poor her. How many mothers in the world have a sister next to them to take care of your children 24/7 ? Give her a break? Does she have to work 8-10 hours a day like the rest of us? As if she was the only mother on Earth who has had to balance family with work. Sorry I won't victimize Céline in that side because she's not a victim at all like you're treating her Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Sorry I won't victimize Céline in that side because she's not a victim at all like you're treating her You rock by making clear your opinion Javito, I've always respected you so much for that. However, all we have to do is wait for a little less than a month now. She'll be making her big return to the stage on June 9th, so new information will probably start becoming public by that time. Javito Posted May 14, 2012 at 11:44 AM Posted May 14, 2012 at 11:44 AM Indeed Carlos, maybe the return to the Vegas stage will be the way to force them to speak and give more information about this and other projects! Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Celine Fan 77 Posted May 14, 2012 at 04:14 PM Posted May 14, 2012 at 04:14 PM And by the way, I know this has nothing to do with the French album but the thing is that we better be ready for the "worst" regarding the English release. For me, and probably for many other fans, the "worst" would be that this upcoming English album was made just by studio versions of songs from the show in Las Vegas. I understand that it would be the worst for some people because the expectation is high as she hasn't released an album since 2007's Taking Chances, and that was already 5 years ago. So this would be her big return to the industry after her longest period of time away from the recording studio ever in her career, and that includes '80s, '90s and '00s. If the album is made just by songs from the Vegas show, the promo tour will be probably just around the United States and maybe some areas of Canada, and that's it. We should take that as a new (the current) stage of her career; she is focused on the show in Las Vegas and so is the album, so that would be the Celine Dion of nowadays ('till the end of the show or 'till her next English album is released and then we'll see). From my point of view, that's how we should take this type of things, I am a Celine Dion fan to enjoy her music and get to know more about her life just because I admire her so much, I don't want my admiration for her to stress me, I'm sure you guys will understand. Sorry I won't victimize Céline in that side because she's not a victim at all like you're treating her It doesn't matter that she has family to help her with her children, even tho' many don't. Regardless of how many people are helping you, Celine wants to be "hands on" with her chidren. She wants to be there to look after them and she wants to be there for those special moments. She waited a long time to be a mother. So, she deserves the right to put them first. She said herself that in the past her vocal chords were her happiness, but now it's her children. In reality, she has her priorities where they're supposed to be. This is directed to anyone, not you Javito since I've quoted you but...................how many of you on this forum are mothers or even parents for that matter? I think once most everyone has experienced parenthood, they see how "life is on the other side". I stayed home with my children when they were little, and then I went back to work. I always said, "There's no point in having children to just give them to someone else to raise." So, I'm quite sure that's the philosophy that Celine has regardless of whether she has 10 people in her family helping her. She wants her kids to know her as a "hands on" mom, not just mom in theory but in practice. I, for one, would be disappointed if I didn't hear about the family etc. I love hearing about it, 'cause her love for them is what has made me admire her all the more. She's not just a singer, but a person............a very admirable person. It's like too many are wanting Celine to "jump" when they say "jump" and "produce" when they say "produce". I bet most of us don't live our lives according to what everyone wants us to do. If you do that, then you'll be a nervous wreck running back and forth trying to please everyone. There comes a time, when you have to do what "works for you". Otherwise, you'll end up a nervous wreck and wonder why. When so many celebrities end their careers early, Celine is still working at it for 30 plus years now. I think we should all thank our lucky stars that she's still singing. I'd much rather have her do what she's doing now, then the alternative which would be retirement. So, she can wait 5 years in between CD's etc. if that's what it takes. There comes a time when candy isn't distributd each and every day, but you have to start regulating how often you get it. There are going to be those who throw a fit 'cause they want what they want, but they have to learn that a more healthy diet is needed. The life that Celine is now living is the healthy diet that she needs so that she has peace, balance and harmony in her life so that she is able to give that to her loved ones. You can't love someone else without first loving yourself. So, Celine does what makes Celine a better person 'cause what matters at the end of a life is not how many CD's you have produced but how many lives you've influenced by your example and character. Celine makes me proud that she's a person of character. That makes me as much of a fan of hers as her exceptional ability at singing. It makes me happy and gives me faith that there are people who do have integrity, because there are many in this world who do not. It drags down one's spirit, but Celine helps to lift my spirit with the strong love that she feels for her family. We need more people like her, and I believe that we need more people in the celebrity field like her as well. Celine will let us know (or Rene) what's up when it's the right time. We can get as frustrated as we want, but it's their decision when to release the news. We have to accept it, and if anyone says "so long Celine", then it's their decision. I, for one, am sticking around!!!!! Quote
