Javito Posted February 10, 2013 at 10:30 AM Posted February 10, 2013 at 10:30 AM To be honest, I don't care what song will be the third single. More important for me are physical copies of the singles, not only digital release. Guess I know what you mean, its a hard time for collectors eh? They'll probably do another promotional single for this, but then you can expect just a few copies pop up on eBay with crazy prices for it... It's always the same now. Collecting new Céline items became expensive and boring 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
stevo Posted February 10, 2013 at 11:49 AM Posted February 10, 2013 at 11:49 AM Best choice for a single. They need a dramatic video that'll get headlines. Come on Celine, you've still got it! 3 Quote
Bruno Portugal Posted February 10, 2013 at 11:55 AM Posted February 10, 2013 at 11:55 AM From celinedion.com: I would prefer "Si je n'ai rien de toi" or "Attendre" but “Qui peut vivre sans amour?” it's a good choice. Now I just wish for a great music video. celine-rc Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:09 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:09 PM Great ! This is a good choice. It stands out on the album so I think that it's not a bad idea. :-) great news ! Jeff Abbott Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:10 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:10 PM Do we know anything if the videoclip has already been shot?Maybe she is going to do it right before she starts her next batch of Vegas concerts. Quote
CELINE MARIE Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:15 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:15 PM I don't like this song Quote
Jeff Abbott Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:20 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:20 PM Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour must have a great videoclip, then it might click with the audiences in the francophone markets. Still, it is great news !!! Hope Celine's other songs from SA could get their chance and be released as singles. 1 Quote
Miha Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:24 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:24 PM No surprise I would say. It was as expected at least to me. Since TC & D'elles their logic is to put songs chosen for singels on first places of the tracklist. So according to them the "fans favourite" Attendre is "only" 5th in row to be chosen for single. But we all know they willnever ever release 5 singels for 1 album anymore.I'm ok with this one to be a single, because all from nr.2 to nr.5. are my favourites including;- Une chance qu'on s'a,- Celle qui m'a tout appris- Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour- Les jours comme çaI'm happy enough they confirm next single, because I was affraid we'll have the same misery we had for D'ells. They better have good reason for the delay of English album if favour of good promotion of SA. THEY BETTER! And Celine should shoot the video these days during Vegas off time.Hope for something edgier as the song itself is. fingers crossed Quote
Timster Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:31 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:31 PM With the English album being delayed there is no excuse for not making a music video for this 3rd single! 4 Quote
Kyle_Jared Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:38 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 12:38 PM Great news. I said earlier even American blogger Perez Hilton posted THIS very song to his website as he loved it so much. Killer video needed! 1 Quote

Adeva Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:37 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:37 PM I knew it. This team is so dumb and intransigent. They pick the singles way ahead of time, put them in order on the cd and then they forget about the rest of the tracks. Le miracle was the wrong choice and so is this one. Sans attendre or SJNRDT should have been the next single. Please post your comments on her website asap. Based on past experience, we know we are getting a maximum of 3 singles. What a shame SA will not be released. Why even bother making it the title of the CD. I hate QPVSA. It's so contrived and forced. Bad choice. Quote
LukeD Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:43 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:43 PM oh come on! Nicki Minaj had 7 songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at the same time! PAMP and the new song could co-exist on the top 100 without any troubles! And how many of them had an impact and are memorable today? Anyway, Nicki MInaj is not Celine Dion and Celine Dion is not Nicki Minaj. 2 Quote
LukeD Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:51 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 01:51 PM (edited) I hope the song does well on the charts, that it boosts the album's sales and that we get a big dramatic video. I really like QPVSA. That being said, I think that their choice is wrong because the song doesn't represent the album from a musical standpoint. Also, I doubt it will become a hit cause it is a bit dated, to me it has no place in 2013's radios. It is a track I enjoy while listening to the album and I think it can be huge on stage, because of its heavy arrangements and Celine's vocals, but I simply don't see radio stations in France playing it. I won't be surprised if it reaches #1 in Quebec though. Edited February 10, 2013 at 01:51 PM by LukeD Quote

It really deserves an emotive and mysterious videoclip to illustrate the song emotion (something similar to "Only one road" video, that would be fine for me). Still, I'd rather the videoclip didn't include 'excessive' amounts of sand, if you know what I mean. What about they chose other locations? 1 Quote

That location was the very first option that came to my mind when I read the word 'meat'. Well, I wouldn't mind having Celine seated in the dinery while eating a sandwich with smoked meat and 'singing' at the same time. Edited February 10, 2013 at 03:00 PM by Jeff Abbott Quote
Daysleeper Posted February 10, 2013 at 03:01 PM Posted February 10, 2013 at 03:01 PM I think it's a good choice for a single especially after "Le miracle". It changes the mood and shows more dramatic side. I think it's not surprise and we secretly expected it will be 3rd single since Céline performed it in France on tv specials.I like this song and it's one of my favorites on the album. Still I have the feeling that it needs some refreshments and I wouldn't mind the idea if they release some kind of "single remix" just to make it more up-to-date. Maybe to change arrangements only little bit. To add some more guitars or something. This song tends to be more modern than the others on the album, but still it sounds little bit outdated to me. And yes, "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" needs a videoclip. A dramatic one. But knowing Sony and Céline's team, maybe we should pray we have any kind of clip. 1 Quote
