why wouldn't it be great when it's actually one of the greatest Celine songs of all time. All By Myself has a spanish version. If That's What it Takes also had it's english version. And IACBTMN deserves to get a french version

Not only covers that they're wishing for, but covers of celine's own old songs...which is what we get on tour ad infinitum anyway... come to think about it, they might be on to something here... what about french IACBTMN one time only, live, as a special treat to fans?

 

But back to the album itself, co-writing the whole thing and getting JJG back on board would be awesome!!! Plamondon excites me greatly aswel, and even one song from the guy will make the whole album a worthwhile purchase for me.

Maybe if we are lucky enough, it will end up being conformed by songs written by herself. I sooo hope so. I've been a good boy this year, Santa.

What I like the most is that Celine got top billing in that article!!! Let's hope that there's an ounce of truth to this. This makes the May release sound like a bunch of merde, and also a release of her own chansons.

It would be great if JJG gives some songs or produce something for Céline´s next album, but interview they are talking about is from march 2010 when René was in Paris, so things can changed, but I hope JJG will participate on her next album. And I agree it´s great Céline is top in that article as artist of most waiting album of next year.

The only album that had covers in French was Celine chante Plamondon with Starmania songs. All the other albums are original materials...

Unless you go back to the 1980's where songs like "Délivre-moi", "Ne me plaignez pas", "A quatre pas d'ici", etc were all covers.

That could be a good idea. I think a mix of Jean-Jacques and Fred St-Gelais would be good. Fred is married to Marie-mai, a rocker type but he's really good. He worked with Marc for Entre Deux Mondes.

well I fully agree that the rumours from fans aren't trustworthy more or less but Mego himself has said that there is now new album (regarding the show) coming out soon.... I believe it means both English and French one

I think he just meant that the show is not based on a new CD (like the Taking Chances World Tour), so there won't be new songs off of a new album.
