The other day I played the French concert, and my hateful dog, which hates me....not only stayed in the same room as me, but stayed in through the entire duration of the concert lol!

I got both the Boston and Montreal show but could tell either some of Bostons performances were added to the Montreal show, or vice versa!!!

 

I wish the CD had the MHWGO remix, Im Alive and Fade Away on it!!! I actually prefer the Montreal CD to Boston!

 

 

Not sure if they has been mentioned yet, but you can tell when the splice Montreal into the Boston show or Boston into Montreal... just look at the color of the seats.. Boston's seats are Yellow- Montreal is Red- That's what I look for...

 

Agreed that I really miss the I'm Alive remix and Fade Away from the CD too...

I've just watched again Les Plaines concert and I have a question: they used a different intro for that special concert with a Dans Un Autre Monde remix instead of the IDAN opening. Did they use that intro for more french concerts of the tour or just the Les Plaines one??

 

I'm not mastered in all the details of the world tour sorry

for the deluxe edition (english one) i notice that the movie when someone speak in french there's no english subtitle with black background where as the normal movie dvd it does have that!

 

you had the normal movie DVD before the deluxe?

 

yes of course the normal movie dvd release first lol haha

OMG. I'm sorry but I laughed so much when I saw your post. I know I would be SO freaking pissed if an animal ripped up my Celine DVD but for some reason I found this so funny. I really feel your pain underneath the laughter and feel bad, but of all the things to pick to tear up your dog picked a cd? I'll bet that dog really does eat homework after seeing the number he did on your poor cd!

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that picture funny. I just didn't want to be rude when I first commented on it!

Just wanted to say (again) that I am so pleased we have a new version of TPOL. I absolutely love it!! I now have it on my iPod and can't stop listening to it! I love the depth and richness of her voice in the live section and as for the rest, a refreshing change. I can't get enough of it!

 

I also want to say that I think Celine has never looked better. I have watched the dVD with friends who would otherwise slate Celine, but they all comment on how stunning she is. Personally, I think she is absolutelt radiant and gorgeous throughout this concert. She is in top physical condition and looks amazing, particularly in the pink dress! I can't get enough of her legs! She is too beautiful for words!!

This dvd is fabulous and I haven't one complaint

I think what many do not realize is the time and effort that goes into production of such products as this

there are close ups and I don't pay much attention to anything else but Celine

LOL not in Germany! I buyed my Deluxe Edition on Ebay, befor they released the Movie in German Stores. But it was supplied 2 days later than the movie was released. so i have both =)

 

How long is your deluxe edition? My Deluxe Edition is just as long as the normal Movie...so why they called directorscut? Where is the different? Only the cover book? (wich is really beautifull, by the way)

I have just watched the French concert which arrived today.

I love it! Celine is so beautiful. And as expected she delivers the French songs with such power and emotion.

I can't say which I prefer because I think boh versions are very similar. I am less bothered by the recycled footage of the English songs than I thought I would be and I absolutely love L'amour existe encore and Je sais pas! Slightly disappointed by the lack of ad-libbing and high notes but I guess there was a reason she chose not to do it on the night.

 

Anyway, I was hoping somebody could tell me if the introduction to I Drove All Night was edited out or if she actually stopped beginning the show in this way at some point during the tour? It was a great way to start the show and I loved hearing her sing this short phrase live. I can't think why she would stop doing it. Did she not do it at the Boston and Montreal shows at all?

 

Also, I agree with others who say the French DVD version of My Love is more powerful than the English and, thankfully, Pour que tu m'aimes encore is infinitely better. She has never failed to sing this song well but there is something very lacklustre about the Boston performance. In Montreal however, we have a return to glory and it just so happens that she looks stunning too.

The French DVD opening hasn't been edited at all, only the English DVD where the IDAN intro was cut out. The IDAN intro was performed in every English concert, but not the French shows - she just talked before starting the song.

That's not true. She did the whole IDAN intro in french concerts, including the accapella part. At least she did in Belgium.
