Going for a DVD hunt tomorrow again! I haven't found any of the releases in my town, so tomorrow I'm heading to this store in another city, which is supposed to have both of the DVD's!! Hopefully the information on their Internet site is correct and I will actually have the DVD's tomorrow!! :)

Hi, everyone. I don't know if this list exists somewhere, if it does someone point me to it.

I'm wondering what are all the different versions of through the eyes of the world and the TC tour dvds/cds? I want to buy coppies, but I'm totally confused.

I want the one/s with the most features/discs, so any help would be awesome.

The only differences I know of for sure are that the tour has english and french concerts and that there are english and french versions of TTEOTW. Are there other versions? What are the differences?

as far as im aware the tour dvds are the same throughout the world, so i would just order the french and the english versions although the french version is far more better as celine actually sings the songs herself (but only the french songs)

Can someone clarify some things for me? My questions are in brackets following the title/s I'm curious about.

 

TCWT-the concert CD/DVD (i'm guessing this is the english show, from boston?)

TMTC-le spectacle CD/DVD (this is the french version, the montreal show?)

Through the eyes of the world Blu ray (is there anything different about this version? I don't have a blue ray player, so I'm kind of hoping not.)

Through the eyes of the world QVC version (same question, what's different? would it just be different packaging, something like that?)

Through the eyes of the world Walmart version (again, what's different? Also, I'm in canada, so would the canadian and US walmart versions be different?)

 

I'm sorry for all the questions, but I kind of want to make sure I know what i'm getting.

Unfortunately, the english has footages from Montreal as the french DVD has footages from Boston! All the english songs are the same (only my love is different)

 

QVC version can be found on QVC website! You have to ask a person who lives in the US to buy it for you on their website! It has a bonus CD with the 4 songs that are not on the CD like Fade away, Show must go on ...

 

Walmart version is not digipack! You can see it in the topic about the documentary!

This (supply issues) was the reason why the releases were postponed (and the deluxe is out later than the normal versions) a few times.

Well, they may have the same catalogue number, but the writing on the back cover is different depending on the country...

I am wondering when my French CD/DVD will be shipped out. I ordered it from the Celine Sony store. Emailed them asking how long it would be. Im dying to see that one, despite the fact that for the most part, I will have NO idea what she is saying. Really need to learn French.

Oh darling..a looooong storyyyyy, but i'll try to help u.. Digipack is the type of packaging(wrapping)of the cd-es, dvd-es also, blurays and so on..They're usually of cartoon made. Let me show u an example:

This is one of the types, there are many digipacks as well. If you have Celine's D'eux legacy edition or D'elles(limited edition), u can see how it looks like..

 

The other one is jewel case or plastic one and the example is:
