There are no more tickets in presale for opening night, i went to ticketmaster to buy one for a friend and nothing... i guess we have to wait until tomorrow for the general sale.

The TC VIP packages were about $2,000 sold in pairs. It looks like these are sold individually because if you notice it says "one" multiple times in the description. I'm betting $1,000 but obviously it's just an opinion.

 

It wouldn't surprise me if it was $2,000 or more. Like someone said earlier it isn't for fans, it's for people who the venue considers VIP...have lots of money and want everything taken care of. If it's $1,000...it's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be!!

I assume the price will be a 1.000 to 1.250 USD. High rollers, whales, VIP's, etc... aren't buying those packages, they get them for free (the so called comps).

 

But I can be wrong, certainly for the first shows...

I'm going to the show on March 15th and 16th and I've got 6 tickets all payed with the same credit card. But on ticketmaster it says that there is a limit of 4 tickets and you might loose the tickets if you use the same credit card and billing address.

 

So we called Ticketmaster to have this sorted out and guess what

 

It's only 4 ticket limit for the show/night

 

So you can buy as many tickets as you want yay

I don't care too much where I am opening night!! just want to be there!! I sat on the floor the whole time during AND except for the last show ... and the view wasn't that bad from upper orch haha!

This is so exciting, even though I won't be going in 2011. I'll definately go in 2012, if nothing unpredictable comes up, like losing my job or something... (knock on wood!). But I remember so well the craziness that comes along with trying to buy the best tickets possible for Celine's shows in Vegas.

Now, about the show: first of all, I kindda doubt the name will be simply "Celine". They've got to come up with something else. Second I really don't think they'll use that photo.... It's already a few years old. She needs to do a photoshoot or take some rehearsals photos and use that, but I guess she's still trying to have a baby so hadn't had the time to do all that.

The way the promotion looks right now, with no name and an old photo, it looks like the most unprofessional promo Celine has ever had for a show. If that's the finished thing, and not a work yet in progress, then Celine and Rene are really losing it from this point of view.

I see not much has been told about the show itself, except the orchestra thing and the Hollywood "touch". I love both of these things, I just love a big orchestra and Celine sounds great when singing with it, just remember Celine sur les Plaines. Also, I'm a huge, huge, huge fan of old black and white movies (The Philadephia Story with Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart and Cary Grant is my all time favourite )'. So I'm sure I'll love this concert. Cause I guess it will be a lot more like a concert with all these musicians on stage, than a show, like A New Day.

I'm so glad so many of you got tickets to the premiere! Make sure you make it a wild one!

Another good news: we'll once again have an "everything Celine" boutique!

The 4 ticket limit per night is for public onsale, not teamceline

 

Just checking because my boyfriend has a membership too, but I wanted to make sure our billing info wasn't the tickets wouldn't get cancelled.

I used two TC accounts for those 6 tickets but the person at Tickemaster said that it was just a limit per show/night.

He must be wrong, but he also said that if you get ticket cancellation, you get an email right away.

Well, that's my holiday sorted for next year - we'll be in Vegas the second 2 weeks of June

 

Now all I've got to do is earn the money to pay for the flights, accommodation, meals etc. I don't care. I've got my ticket to see Céline
