maybe I'm just being negative but I have this overwhelming feeling I still won't be able to get to Vegas to see Celine this time either. Its just to far from where I live and the costs of tickets, plus travel, plus a hotel, food etc its all just to much and being without a job I have no way to pay for this...maybe I won't be able to go the first year but maybe the second or third. Guess I can hope, though it didn't do any good the first five year

Ashley / Belle, I totally feel your pain and completely understand... If I was not in the States back in 2003 for a family trip, I would not have had the chance to see AND back in the first year... Now, of course, throughout the 5-year stint, lots of changes were made and I wished I had seen it one last time, but being unemployed then made it so much harder....

 

For this one, though, I am really taking a gamble with the premiere tickets my friend has bought. My sole intention is to finally meet them up for the first time after 10+ years of friendship, but it is still a daunting task for me, with the exchange rate, recession, tight budgets, et al.... I honestly lost respect for the management who really (for lack of a better word) screwed us over with this no-notice nonsense. Bitterly disappointed does not even begin to describe the feelings that we all felt yesterday.

 

I don't know... All I know is, I'm as afraid as the next person... I WANT her to have her second child, God willing, but if it postpones the premiere and all, I absolutely won't know what to do then....

 

Only time will tell, I guess...

I finally got an email from TeamCeline about the presale after it's on sale for 2 hours and 20 minutes. That's really fast!!!

I still have not received any emails from them.

One of my friends (a insider ) from Vegas has just told me that Celine is expected to perform "The Power Of Love","Because You Loved Me", "My Heart Will Go On", "Beauty and the Beast", "Thats the way it is", "If You asked me to", and " I Knew I Loved You", " It Mans World"... no more details at the time but they say Celine is preping for the show as we speak

This makes me excited. Don't care much for TPOL, BYLM, MHWGO....those are expected...but I was NOT expecting BATB, TTWII, IYAMT, IKILY, and IAMW....glad to see some songs performed that never are!!!

 

But this means nothing though. I remember before the TC tour there were rumors about Celine doing Immortality and The Reason......

 

"Je ne vous oublie pas" and "Je lui dirai" were also rehersed for the TCWT. They were even included in the original pressings of the tour book, but they were never performed.

I really hope everything works out. I really don't think Céline would ever say yes to a three year engagement, if she wasn't prepared to deal with a possible pregnancy at the same time. I would never have thought she would do both, but she wouldn't let the fans down like that. Also, maybe this fifth try is her last? I'm sure she must have a plan. I know what it means to finally be able to meet up with Céline friends! I still have a lot more I'd love to meet, including you!

 

Remember when Céline made the second row available to her fans, not just VIPs, during A New Day...? I wonder how she would feel to know that now all five rows are now reserved for VIPs... Something tells me there are going to be people taking naps again, and not just in the front row...

 

I could get crazy and start charging tickets, but I just can't... everything is so uncertain right now. I have health issues, and medical expenses... and not a lot in the financial department. It's just bad timing for me, and I thought we'd have more time. I'm hoping it'll be meant to be for me in the future. Hopefully the next sale will have a bit more warning... what were they thinking? Oh, right. They weren't! This is me not renewing in May, or ever again.

I still can't believe ot happened so fast! Yesterday I had other things going on and when I read that the rpesale is on I almost fainted! So i basically joined TC to get the code and got some nice tickets for the opening night! I didn't get spectacular tickets, but they are good all the same, I', going to be in Orchestra 5 L.

I still cannot believe I'm going! I'm really happy about it and about meeting other forum members, who'll be going to the premiere!

From friday on: yes, untill the point they see they won't sell, then they'll probably sell them as regular seats.

 

For those with a casino host (you never known that there are gamblers here ): The casino host should be able to get those seats also, a lot of those seats are blocked for "whales" or VIP's.

Those 54 dates are not that spread out, are they? I won't be surprised if there'll be no performances in Nov. and Dec. 2011.

I doubt that! There aren't that many TC memberships What's getting thinner and thinner is the seats allocated for the TC presale. On Friday, more seats will be released. I'd say "all" but I know that's not true either, LOL. They will hold some for VIPs, friends, and then release them weeks before the shows

Well the concert is a while away! We've all still got time to book places, maybe even buy tickets, book hotels..etc.

Saveeeee!! And definitely if you can't make it the first, try the second But I know exactly how you feel. This is KIND of a bad time for concerts, with the economy not exactly being it's best.

Nope, it's for every single show. But those seats aren't blocked solely for the VIP packages, also for friends, family, whales, etc...
