No there was no discount for TC tickets.

And yes I'm waiting on Friday general sale to get my ticket for the 16th.

Hey I just got orch 4 HH seat 406 for March 16th! I cant get anything good except Row k Orch 5 for Tues March 15th. If it wasn't the FIRST show I wouldnt care as much but I think Ill wait for Friday and see if I can do better - with everyone else! LOL

Joey - Same here. I just purchased Orch4 Row HH (seats 409/410) for the 16th... and I think I'll hold off on the 15th until Friday. Mistake? Only time will tell...

Ahh cool Jenn, there will be several of us in that row. I just tried again and keep getting rear orch for 3/15. So I figure Ill wait for Friday and if I don't get anything good then there's always first mezz which isn't horrible. I wanna be close at least one night and I know Ill go back again & again and get closer seats. I can't believe that TC isn't even giving us a discount. Ya know, they probably threw it all together so fast that there wasn't time to figure it out.

Excellent! However, I'd rather sell my body for cash and pay extra than to stay at Circus-Circus! LOL!

Just giving posibilities I won't stay in a hotel with less then 4 diamonds (4 stars) but not everyone wants luxury. And Circus Circus shouldn't be to bad. Although a Motel 6 could be a better option

does anyone know if using a debit card is acceptable? it has a mastercard logo on it?

i just used my debit card thats visa for the movie tickets on TM so im sure you can use them to get tickets for the show.

my capital one visa card expires in december of this year, if i use that one ,will they accept my new capital one card next yr,id have the same card number but new expiration date?>

Yeah, they just need a Visa/Mastercard logo to use Ticketmaster. TM doesnt care if its a credit card or debit card. I used a Visa debit for AND back in the day.

An American debit may work. But I doubt an international one would work, cause most local debit cards don't even has an USD account. At least all debit cards here clearly state they work only in China.

This happened to me before. You shouldn't have any problems with the new expiration date. As long as it's the same credit card number and such it should be fine.

Makes me wonder though... people have credit cards re-issued all the time with different numbers - like if your wallet gets stolen and you need to cancel the card and get a new one. What happens then if you try to pick up your tickets but don't have a matching card? Just something to ponder...

I was just thinking about joining TC, but I'm so glad I didn't coz that's one crappy advantage! And you can't even book first row tickets...

I can't believe they started selling the tickets with under a week notice. Bye bye premiere... Hope I can see her some time next year though.

It's the name on the card that counts. I had renewed my card and had a different number by the time I got to Vegas and had no problems.

Luxor has an offer for 55 USD a night, unfortunately this offer ends on the end of this year but probably a similar offer will be available later this year for next year.
NYNY has room for 60 USD a night
MGM Grand for 70 USD a night
Circus Circus for 25 USD a night

I'd highly recommend Circus Circus I was there when I went to see A New Day... And I was really satisfied:)

Okay, I have tickets for her April 15th, 16th, and 17th show. Happy 23rd birthday to me. I HATE!!!! how this was done, but I guess it turned out alright, short notice meant better ticket selection and will-call means less people buying to resell. I got row 6 for the 15th and 17th, and because my internet crashed, row 7 for the 16th (first selection was row 5) :hammercomp: . I haven't even looked at how much this is going to cost, I just know I so can't afford it right now. Though, it ends up being worth it because prices on Stubhub are horrible! I bought the insurance thing, so if something comes up at least I can get my money back. What a day!

Is anyone sitting by me?

Pretty sure I've already had I DROVE ALL NIGHT cranked up as loud as it will go and done a few rounds around the living room.

So, I pretty much know nothing about Vegas.... except what I've seen on CSI. Lol! So will I have to get a rental car?? I know I'm sounding like an idiot, but I don't know and am trying to keep costs low! I only have 255 bucks on my account now after buying TC membership and tickets.

If you want a really cheap room than you'll have to go off strip, if I remember correct there were some decent hotels outside of Vegas/Henderson offering rooms for even less then 10 USD a night and from the reviews I've read they were decent. But I think it's better to stay on the strip and stay in Circus Circus or something, which is really cheap, quite decent and located on the strip. You won't need a car if you stay on the strip and even when you need to go downtown you can take a taxi rather cheap.

I'm going to rent a car because I'm goint to combine Vegas with Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon and if I have time to spare I'll head to Death Valley also.

Bought a ticket for the 16th, saw my chance and didnt want my renewal to be for nothing, I have FORCH4 row HH seat 413!!!!!

gonna wait until friday for the 15th, hope that's a good choice!

wanna see one or two more but I still have a year to get tickets, right

This is so unfair! how are we supposed to book tickets when we dont even know if the show will be on for 3 years? can you post a link to this? i cant find where this information is on ticket master? how can we have 20 minutes to do this:( i need to consult with the people i am going with. I am annoyed now

The contract is for 70 shows each year during a periode of 3 years.

So

2011 - 70 shows
2012 - 70 shows
2013 - 70 shows

Wasn't the A New Day contract for 3 years and then later extended to another 2 years?Maybe this will be the case this time round if the demand is still there.

Did anyone do the insurance thing? I clicked the check box saying that I wanted it, but when I got the confirmation email it said that I didn't purchase it (but that it's not too late). Really hope I can get it figured it out, it's part of the reason I bought tickets for three days.

Any debit card with a MAESTRO, CIRRUS, VISA or MASTERCARD logo should work worldwide. HOWEVER... International debit cards won't work online, only to get money out of an ATM or sometime to pay in stores... In the far future it should work but that can take several years...

The initial AND contract was also for 3 year but much more shows (I thought twice as much).

I don't expect it to be extended but you never know... If the show sells out day after day there are chances that it will get extended if the offer is good enough
