Why is everybod talking about adoption?

She is mother already, she doesn't need to adopt if she doens't want. How many families are out there with only one child? And to me she was pretty clear, she is not going to adopt

Larry King is dumb - did anyone else think him saying, "It's always fun trying" was insensitive? Celine is giving herself shots and taking medication and undergoing procedures to get pregnant not doing it the old fashioned way! I think she was a little taken back for a second.

I noticed that too!! I don't think he was completely informed. But the look on her face was just.. Yea. He obviously didn't know she was on her 5th try for IVF. Or he probably wouldn't have said that. And she handled it well too :)

What a great interview! I think it's one of my favorites of hers. First of all, she looked simply gorgeous. She was very mellow and to-the-point and she didn't get rambling like she tends to do on Oprah. I loved it. When she answered about how she hates to sing when her voice isn't in top shape I thought she was very aware that she doesn't sound great all the time and it's harder on her than we think. She mentioned at the end when she was talking about MHWGO as well that it's a hard song to sing (lol like she ever sings it anymore) and her voice has changed since she first did it. I almost get the impression she was trying to hint to her fans that her voice isn't the same as it used to be, and singing isn't as easy as it used to be and there are times when she is not going to sound her best and she's very aware of the state of her voice. I also wish they talked more about the new show, but I think it's probably too early still to have a lot of details. Edited February 16, 2010 at 05:15 AM by LVCeline

:yes: :yes: I thought about that too, about her being aware of her high and low days for her voice.

I think to, she noticed she was a bit out of pitch for the MHWGO singing, and then just BAM! So able to marvelously get on tune!

She looks amazing! Some of the things she said were funny though, 'my book is open', 'sarcastic isn't it', bless her!!!

 

It was great to see her but there was nothing new in this interview that we didnt know before. Larry's 'Must be fun trying' also showed how uninformed he was of her attempts to get pregnant. Sure, injecting yourself with hormones is brilliant! Oh dear.

 

Celine seemed very different here than on oprah. Much more serious and somewhat tense but I guess it's just a different person interviewing though!

I thought it was a really cute interview... would have preferred a full hour though!

 

She always looks at René off camera, so cute. But kind of scary that she didn't know about her new Vegas contract and had to ask him, lol. She did know she was going back for three years... riiiiight?!

 

And I think most of us have to be used to Larry King not having all the information... Céline is so polite not to have said, "Oh yeah, I have the bruises from the injections to prove it. So much fun! You gotta try it."

I was just about to post that- since I watched it again just now! How she says sarcastic instead of ironic and how she doesn't want to remember instead of regret haha.

 

I love how she "plays" the little flute! How she re-enacts James Horner playing the paino...how she says "Oh myy Goddd" about rene asking her to cut a demo for MHWGO..and about getting tired of singing it, the face she makes! "You have to be like KILLING it..." then the little flute action ahahhahaah

I just saw the rerun for Larry King Live and Celine was amazing during the interview, she looked gorgeous as always!

Didnt like how Larry kept cutting her off though that was kinda rude, he didnt let her finish her michael jackson story.

Anyway, Celine was just breathtaking! Love her to death!

nice interview. wow i didn't know she was gonna go back for 3 years. Hopefully it actually works out and the new show doesn't flop in a month, considering shes already been there.

Glad she made sure of the dates and everything. I got the feeling she was maybe told how many shows she was going to do, maybe not how many years, anyway that was funny but she knew 3 years and the movie comes out of the 17th lol.

Great interview! She looked so gorgeous; better than on Oprah. Some of my thoughts:

 

1. The MJ question is getting slightly old now and I'm tired of hearing about MJ.

2. Larry was totally out of line when he said: ''it is fun trying''. I bet Celine was like what the hell are you talking about. I wish she had set him straight.

3. I can't believe people are going on about the adoption thing. Adoption is not something you just do and it is not for everyone. Plus, I bet if she actually does adopt a cild, everyone will say: ''Oh, she is pulling a Madonna or Angenlina.''

4. The MHWGO acapella was amazing!

Just caught the ending of it! She looked AMAZING! I agree about the "fun trying" he was definitely uninformed...haha, but then again, he's very old now, so he could have been told and just forgot! Loved the MHWGO Acapella!! That was amazing! And gosh darn it...let Celine TALK!!! haha he kept cutting her off, I wanted to hear more about Barbara being a "trooper" to sing with the Joans Bros and Miley LOL. The whole MJ thing is getting old. Celine has expressed many times her adoration for him and how he inspired her. And yeah, the whole ADOPTION topic needs to go. Like someone said before, adoption is not for everyone. Other than that, Celine was simply the best! Beautiful and her voice sounded amazing!

But yeah, I think Larry could stand to do a little research because anyone who doesn't live under a rock knows what Celine is going through trying to have a child, and he came off as a bit insensitive. I'm also very, very sick of hearing about Michael Jackson.

 

Now, why is everyone so against adoption? I realize it's not for everyone...but there are so many children born into this world who need a home, love, and a family...I think it's always a beautiful thing if somebody is willing to offer them that.

It's awful when you think of the number of children who die because they don't even have the basic things they need to survive, and pathetic to think about how many pregnancies never even become children because the parents don't want to take responsibility for their own actions.

I know it's not up to Celine to solve the world's problems, but I think I'd be really proud of her if she considered doing something like that.

I love that they used I've Got The Music In Me, they should have kept that in the whole tour... ;-)

 

I rather see her on Larry then on Oprah. I like both sides of her don't get me wrong, but for her next Oprah they should go into the dept with her, and not only goofing around how she talks to her dog hahaha.

thank you very much for posting this on youtube~! I try to avoid the moviefragments from Through the eyes.. but this interview is soooooo much better than the Oprah one. She is so more serious , goes so much more in depth about the tour, about vegas. In Oprah there wasn't much actually to talk about. I love this interview! thank you!

 

 

And to add something more - man she looks ( her eyes look amazing!!) so great here! I saw new pictures in the celine's closet topic, and I thought hey I have never seen those pictures..Her make-up looks so classy! I think this is definately her most classy look! wow!
