Hello everyone! The Oprah show was nothing less than AMAZING!! Celine looked FABULOUS! You will see pics soon. After everyone left the studio, we headed to the entrance where she would be exiting. Nick informed us that she would stop for us. She autographed and posed for pics with ALL OF US.

 

I'll let some of the others go into REAL DETAIL about everything, but I just wanted to say it was fabulous! She was on fire today, acted super hilarious at times, and the song she sang was "A Song For You" live, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!

You complain for the same songs being sung, and then she does something completely unexpected and all I see is "oh why the hell would she sing that..wah wah whoa is me. i don't like that song blah blah blah..." how about we get over ourselves and just enjoy the fact that Celine is all over the place right now.

Obviously Celine had a reason for choosing that song... and as I fan I am honored that it was dedicated to me (and of course all you other people..haha). "I couldn't live... I couldn't live without your love". Very touching as fan... so, it should be a "fan favorite".

 

However, I do get what other are attempting to convey. Celine has been irrelevant to the masses since TTWIS... her last Top 40 #1. The last thing that we would want Celine to do is to ruin the chance of winning over some younger fans... a great way to do that is ASFY. I mean.. it's a great emotional song... but not a radio hit.

 

But as a longtime fanatic, much like many of us here... I'm going to lose my sh*t and just think it's great that I get to see Celine singing live on Oprah.

 

For the average Jane or Joe Schmoe tuning in to see Oprah... they will Catch Celine and think... well nothing has changed with her... still plugging away with those ballads...

 

I mean even the A/C world turned their backs to Celine with TC.... anywho...

 

1) I enjoy ASFY

2) Understand why some people are frustrated.. because we want Celine to be popular again... (last song to hit the top 40, IDAN, right?)

3) I SOOO want spoiler updates!!!

I needed to unwind my mind today like crazy when I was driving home from work today. TC was in the CD player and I kept tracking until I could find a song to match my temperament. Coincidentally it was ASFY and I just developed a whole new appreciation for it. It's the only song that comes close to a vintage Celine ballad on the whole album. Can't wait to see this performance.

Maybe she meant she wasn't going to go back to Vienna. She might have nightmares after what happened during IDAN in Vienna. She should come back to Europe though and do a stint of shows here. I imagine it would be easier for a lot of her fans to see her in Europe than in Vegas.

I'm SOOOOO happy that she sang that I ADORE this song. Her voice is so amazing in this song. Yeah they're plenty other great song on this album but I'm really happy that she did that one. Fans maybe don't appreciate it, but I'm sure live his more powerful and you will get it the way I get that song. Can't wait to see the show
