Hello everyone! The Oprah show was nothing less than AMAZING!! Celine looked FABULOUS! You will see pics soon. After everyone left the studio, we headed to the entrance where she would be exiting. Nick informed us that she would stop for us. She autographed and posed for pics with ALL OF US.

 

I'll let some of the others go into REAL DETAIL about everything, but I just wanted to say it was fabulous! She was on fire today, acted super hilarious at times, and the song she sang was "A Song For You" live, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!

a song for you..although I liked it when she did that one live in sweden or finland?, I think it is slow and she should have sang something uptempo or something unexpected! like shadow of love or can't fight the feeling..now it is again a slow ballad! And a song for you is not a song people attract to listen to the taking chances album..missed chance!

And for those who are pissed off about the song choice....Although it may not be any of our first choices for songs, be thankful we didn't have LCMM or the 8th Oprah performance of BYLM.

BIG chance! With everything thats going on around her these days, she does Oprah and then she sings "A Song For You"??? Amongst all her slow and boring songs, she has gone to choose the worst!

 

This has had to be René's idea (the #1 fan of that song -and only?- ). Otherwise, she's crazy to have presented that song in Oprah!

I kinda lied. I listened to it once wayyy long time ago when I listened to the entire TC CD, but this is the first time I actively seeked out this song to listen to. The other time I told myself I'd listen to the entire CD and rank everything out of 5, and I probably ranked it a 1, lol.

 

I didn't listen to the studio version today, just the studio recording session, and after that the performance. Five minutes ago, I just looked up the studio and skipped to the ending for the high note.
