This interview made me dislike Celine a lot:

First of all, this interview showed that Celine is grumpy (she exceeds in negativity)

Second of all, Rene was talking about the fact that Celine can write beautiful songs and that she DIDN'T want to write songs for herself in the future and BTW Celine made the PFFF face when he said that. I was like WTH Everyone wants to hear songs written by you (Celine) and you say PFFF. I was really disappointed with her attitude.

I don't know if you will understand what this means..but that makes her HUMAN....I've only recently started seeing your posts pop up...and it's always complaining and negativity..and now you are being negative about Celine being negative...rather annoying.

She really should start to write her own songs now and record them, Rene is a manager he knows a hit when he hears it and he wouldnt lie to her if it wasnt that good.

Celine said that she often starts by saying NO but after René explains the reasons why it's important, she does it. Just look at all she's done in her life and I wouldn't call her negative even if René does... :giggle:

Not much new really... but at least we know that the Maria Callas movie is still a possibility.
But Las Vegas is still a "maybe", nothing official just yet. However, Celine is already giving lots of ideas for the future show (must be LV!!)...
Nothing about a new album though. And nothing about the Olympics.

Was more about promoting the movie than anything else. But it was nice to see them so happy.

Yes!!! They really confirm that the Callas movie project is still alive!!! and that they will love to do something (whatever..) with Nagano in the future. They love and admire his talent and the man he is. Apparently René would really want Céline to write songs for herself too(he said to Michel), as she wrote for the next Marc Dupré's cd. Céline doesn't seem to want to do that either for now(like in the past). But, I find it a good thing that now she finishes them and even offers them to Marc. There is hope....

About the topic that Michel wasn't suppose to talk about, I really think it was about René's health(at the very end). "René you had yourself a couple of health scares in the last two years.." said Michel. Michel talked a little bit about it and ask how he was doing at the end(just before opening the champagne). René said he was fine, Céline and him touched wood and they turned the focus on the champagne. I guess René doesn't want the interview to be about him and his health, that's all. Anyway everything seem ok now.

Céline's seems happy but also emotional at times. She said that those IVF process are a little improving physically but also emotionally cuz she cries often. She hopes that RC and René are not too derange by this. I so hope this 5th time is the ONE for her too! Apparently Céline(just like you LadyLinsey) hope her lucky 5 will help her turn it into a successful try this last time.

Like in "It's Complicated" when the guy is talking about his wife going through fertility treatments and he says "I'm gonna have to call an exorcist if she doesn't calm down soon." :laugh: It can't be an easy thing to go through.

Sorry but Celine wasn't negative in all the interview. She just said the things the way they are. That she doesn't always want to do the stuff that René proposes. So what? The woman never stops!!

Céline pointed out a difference of perception between the both of them regarding their son's comment that day in the car. RC : "But I'm singing in French too " (so cute). They met in Berlin during the tour but Kent Nagano is no producer, he's maestro Kent Nagano(the leader of Montréal's symphonic orchestra). Céline sees herself winning an Oscar(but not for her child). She said she sees herself winning with her mother and son being there. That's when René said : "And me?" Céline : "You too of course"

About the cd project I think they thought it was too soon to talk about it anyway...just like when René talked about Céline writting a song for Dupré's next cd. Céline : "Don't talk about it right away" She thought it was premature to tell about it or maybe she wanted Marc to announce it himself on his own time maybe.

Was just reading everyones posts and I thank you for them cause I am sitting here watching the interview on TV but I have NO IDEA as to WHAT they are SAYING, but i am just Happy to see Celine on TV. And to the person who said she was negative, although I respect that everyone has the right to thier opinion I think Celine looked and sounded wonderful!!! Loved that they showed film and pictures of her from the tour.......

Thanks Lou. That's what I thought. It's still sad though. It was still a living thing even if it didn't have a heartbeat. :cry: I just hope she's going to be ok if this last try doesn't work. It must be so hard to go through all that and end up with no baby. :cry:

I watch most of the interview except for the las t bite of it. But I have to say that it was a fantastic interview from the little bit I did understand about. :thumbsup2:

about KFC- It can be found in most countries. It does taste differently and I think it is because they do not use transfat anymore.

So I will summarize the highly informative interview:

- Céline will be releasing a new English album titeled Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore Live in Shanghai, Dublin, London, Sierra Nevada and Omaha with lyrics written by her cameraman
- She will be playing the main character role in the upcoming movie about Nelson Mandela who is apparently a big fan of Maria Callas
- Rene Charles will be getting an internship at Air Canada as soon as he turns 10
- Rene said he got a good new deal the next album in French, the next single will be titled "Florida", Céline is designing the artwork and the booklet herself oh and the COSTUMES, too
- and the last thing, they talked about Maria Callas, I believe she visited them once in Berlin or something!? Can anybody help me on that!?
