Dr. Seang Lin Tan, a world-renowned fertility expert at the McGill University Reproductive Centre, said frozen embryos can be kept for years before they are used. While the first and second child may be siblings, he said, it’s wrong to call them twins.
Her doctor is a Chinese? I didn't know that.

The media source would've just asked a fertility doctor/expert to give their opinion on Celine's pregnancy, and in this case - it happened to be an Asian doctor from McGill university. Which by the way, would make him Asian-Canadian since McGill is in Montreal...and not Asian-American.

I'm an Asian-Canadian, and technically... I don't like to be lumped as an American. You can call me North American though....lol! :yes:

Not sure if this article has been already listed on here, but in this one it says Celine has been booked to appear at the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver, and Vegas in June 2010, and that these plans will probably have to be changed now. Question: I knew there was a lot of talk about the w.Olympics and whether or not Celine would perform, but i never realised she had actually been booked for it??

I, personally, am glad she's pregnant after putting IVF on the back burner for too many years. I can wait for a new album/show etc as long as she has her 2nd miracle baby.

Hmmm I live in Vancouver and I don't recall any official confirmation and news that she's performing during the W.Olympics. Unless they really booked her but plan to release the ceremony lineup later. Anyway, I was really hoping for her to be here...but in February, she'll be 6 months along.... so who knows I'm not getting my hopes up anymore, since I'm just glad to know she's having her baby!

But it was also RC's first day of school and I read somewhere that he will be attending school in Florida I can't imagine that he would be alone on his first day of school in Florida and his mother/father in New York?

In another source I read that Celine & Co. were in Quebec ...

WHO KNOWS MORE?????

Celine and family should be in Florida when they received the happy news (and while Celine was shopping! haha typical). They only mentioned that they'll stay in Montreal in the summer only till the end of July & they were only briefly in NYC to do the IVF treatment and then go home to prepare RC to go to school. I highly doubt they would have been somewhere else if RC is going to school in Florida.

So their Florida home is complete?

^ I know that! hence that's why I said whoever the media source is...just asked the "nearest doctor" for advice/opinion on what they thought.

So their Florida home is complete?

Maybe it's completed, maybe not. They are rich enough to find alternative housing while still building/finishing their new dream house!

I'm not sure which Hello magazine we get at the local bookstores, I think its the British verison not Canadian or I'd try and get a copy. Last time she was in Hello for the tour ending that was the Canadian one right? I know the bookstore that has Hello didn't have that one. Hopefully People will have her on the cover, or she'll do an interview with People. I just really hope she does an interview with an american magazine so those of us in the US can get it.

A while back, I too was trying to purchase the Hello Canada Magazine here in the U.S. The last time I spoke to the publishers of Hello Magazine, they stated Hello Canada Magazine is not offered in the United States :shrug: don't understand that......right across the border If I remember correctly they stated the UK/British & Mexico versions were offered in the U.S.

You aren't the only one!!!!! I've been telling everyone at school today and I was so happy when I remembered it when I woke up this morning. I'm still estatic over it!!!!!! It's sooo amazing and I can't wait for Celine's appearance to announce it herself or give an interview with a magazine. Hopefully People or something!!!!

Also here is new photo to me, it can't be new new because RC's hair is long to long to be new. BTW I noticed a carrying case for an I-phone on RC's waist. Any chance this is from when they were in NYC what back in March?

Céline Dion, who is expecting her second child, conceived through in vitro using an embryo that had been frozen for eight years.

The 41-year-old singer is in the "very, very early stages of her pregnancy" and is reportedly "ecstatic," according to her doctor, Dr. Zev Rosenwaks.

Dr. Rosenwaks says:

"She is feeling well. So far, so good. I look forward to hearing the fetal heartbeat. René and Céline are both looking forward to a pregnancy that is a healthy one."

Dion had her embryos frozen by Rosenwaks when she went through IVF the first time while trying to conceive son René-Charles, who was born in 2001.

She returned to the fertility specialist in 2007 following the end of her stint in Las Vegas to have the embryos transferred back.

When Rosenwaks gave her the good news:

"You could hear her chuckling. She was very happy. So was René. They are both very thankful."

I agree. :thumbsup2: Céline was in Florida because it was RC's first day of school and I forgot to mention to you all that in her TVA interview last night Julie Snyder said Céilne was actually in a store, shopping to find a hat for René-Charles.
